Lunchtime Bytes! 🍏
A Musical Masterclass

We’re back with another Lunchtime Bytes, the mini-social event and part of Life@factory42 where teams get to know more about their peers beyond work and discover hidden talents! This month, Mimi - a much decorated cellist and one of the many musically gifted members of the team - gave us a musical masterclass on harmonies, circle of the fifths and how we hear and interpret different sounds. We even got to make our own little piece - a soundtrack to Factory 42 but in the interests of protecting your ears we won’t be posting it here..

Factory 42 is growing and we have a number of very exciting XR projects kicking off in 2023 and 2024, for which we need more of everyone - contract and permanent❗️

💡We’re looking for Producers, Game Designers, Experience Designers, Game Developers, Creative Technologists, Modellers, Animators, Riggers, QA Analysts, and multi-skilled Artists and Coders, at all levels.

💡We are seeking people with experience in Unity, Unreal and/or Spark AR.
Experience in VR and AR would be an advantage.

Introducing Lunchtime Bytes! 🥙

As part of Life@factory42, Lunchtime Bytes is a mini social event where the team at Factory 42 get together to learn about the skills, passions, hobbies and interests of their colleagues over a delicious lunch. It’s a great chance for remote or hybrid teams to get together and for us to get to know our peers beyond work and discover hidden talents! This month, Janita spoke about her heritage and how her love for her culture motivated her and her peers to create The Tamil Academic Journal, an organisation that aims to promote original research pertaining to Tamil people globally.
