I had the pleasure of being interviewed recently on talkradio.nyc's 'A Train to Sedona' show, where I shared with host, Linda Marsanico, the learning I gained from years traveling as a solo woman, my greatest global synchronicity story, my spiritual path of the last forty years, starting over (again!) at 60, a shallow admission about accepting an Emmy award on national TV, and how all these various experiences (and all of ours) culminate in our greatest offerings to others when given the chance to review them in the rearview mirror.I hope this sparks something for you.

FEELING PURPOSEFUL is my #1 thing, and it took several years and the conviction to dream up something new for me to feel it again in my work. Last week, having created a Mindful Communication workshop that I took to SUNY, with a roomful of equally shy, curious and open-hearted college students, I felt a new level of purpose and alignment that bridged my gifts, my desire to be of service, and the beautiful reminder that manifesting out of thin air always happens when we come from spaciousness and clarity. These students were so candid and willing in this space we created together, and I look forward to more. They were receptive to a heart-centered practice, and to sharing feelings that ran the gamut during the exercises to help them witness themselves in communication and relationship with others.

I'm excited to be offering short workshops and conscious conversation spaces to corporations and schools in the areas of soft skills, mindfulness, and contemplative practices - so feel free to reach out here or on my website.

My gentle tip: Ask yourself what you care about these days. What superpowers have laid dormant that want to resurface. Where these things may be needed. Put the income and the practicality aside for a bit and let yourself dream it up. It works!

REINVENTION at 61, let alone any age, requires creativity, patience and guts. In fact, I used to hate when my mother would tell me I should always be reinventing myself. While she was more focused on style and appearance and the attributes that defined her modeling agency industry, I saw no reason to do so in any capacity unless you were Madonna. But life transitions and lay offs will ask reinvention of us, so here I am. The last few months have been a combo platter of thawing out in ways I didn't know I needed, learning to BE more and DO less against my will -- and despite thinking I was already good at that, and writing myself a permission slip to use the best of my gifts in a new way, even if that meant creating a business from scratch. I am grateful to see these new seeds take hold as I continue to exhale as slowly as I can remember to, and excited to share that I am leading two workshops for SUNY New Paltz's Contemplative Group in the next few weeks (one for faculty, one for students) on mindful and conscious communication, while I continue to build my life guidance clientele.
