I have not been very active on this page, but I wanted to share this with you all;

2025 was a year of growth, change, and patience. Looking back, I’m most grateful for the quiet moments, the lessons learned through challenges, and the people who stayed by my side.

It is not about the 'big' wins. It is the most joy in the small stuff: good books, better company, and the time to breathe.

A new update on the New Home Care Worker Immigration Pilots:

There will be 2 streams:
✅Workers in Canada
✅Applicants not working in Canada

When the pilots open, IRCC will only accept applications for the Workers in Canada stream. The stream for applicants not working in Canada will open at a later date.

Requirements:
✅have a minimum of level 4 in English or French in the CLB or NCLC
✅have the equivalent of a Canadian high school diploma (or higher)
✅have at least 6 months of recent and relevant work experience or a related caregiver training credential
✅have an offer for a full-time home care job

Who can Apply?

Those who are working in Canada with job offer from:
✅private households
✅ home health care service providers
✅home care support service providers
✅direct care agencies
✅personal care services in residential settings
✅pediatric home health care service providers
✅Those without status in Canada can also apply under a public policy.

The Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) is now beginning to accept new applications from designated New Brunswick employers to endorse a position offered to a foreign national.

At this time, the province will not be considering designation and endorsement applications for occupations that fall under the following NOCs:

Accounting technicians and bookkeepers (NOC 12200)

Administrative assistants (NOC 13110)

Shippers and receivers (NOC 14400)

Restaurant and food service managers (NOC 60030)

Food service supervisors (NOC 62020)

Cooks (NOC 63200)

Bakers (NOC 63202)

Bartenders (NOC 64301)

Other customer representatives (NOC 64409)

Process control and machine operators – food and beverage processing (NOC 94140)

Fish and seafood plant workers (NOC 94142)
