Deadlived: A New Survival Looter-Shooter Emerges on Steam
Ludusware studio is preparing to launch Deadlived, an open-world multiplayer survival game that blends looter-shooter action with the tension of a post-apocalyptic world.
Set in the aftermath of the catastrophic K-98 virus outbreak, which wiped out 90% of humanity, Deadlived drops players into a dangerous landscape where the remnants of civilization teeter on the edge of collapse. Survivors must navigate crumbling cities, abandoned bunkers, and hostile territories filled with both the infected and rival players.
Unlike traditional zombie survival titles, Deadlived emphasizes choice and consequence. Players can decide whether to cooperate, trade, or betray one another, creating dynamic encounters in a harsh world. Safezones offer missions and opportunities for commerce, but beyond their walls lies a sandbox of risk where trust can be as deadly as the infected.
Gameplay allows for both first-person and third-person perspectives, with mechanics tied to survival elements like weather, seasons, and resource scarcity. Exploration is rewarded with loot, but every abandoned building or military facility hides stories of the fallen world—and new dangers.
While Deadlived is currently listed as “Coming Soon” on Steam with no confirmed release date, the title has already begun attracting attention from fans of hardcore survival experiences such as DayZ and Escape from Tarkov.
