The Cuchara Valley Art Show is just around the corner.

Who is ready for the 2025 Cuchara Art Show?!

The event will be open to the public, starting Friday, August 1 at 7pm for our Artist Talks and Demos, featuring photographer Jason Barnes! (No art can be purchased Friday evening)

The show will be open for browsing/purchasing August 2 from 10am to 4pm and again on August 3 from 11am to 4pm.

Hot weather will continue across the region over the weekend, with isolated to scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms expected, especially along the mountains. The main threat from any thunderstorms that develop will be excessive rainfall and the potential for localized flash flooding. A few strong to possibly severe storms will be possible over NE Colorado, including portions of Kiowa county on Saturday.

Average rate increases requested by insurance companies range from 15 percent for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Colorado to 23 percent for Denver Health to 36 percent for Rocky Mountain HMO, according to the release.
