The spread of COVID-19 has affected millions of people across the globe. For British author Africa Daley-Clarke, the pandemic cost her her job. Living with her husband and newborn child in a one bedroom apartment in social housing, there was little room for expression, and without a job to occupy her time she decided to create The Vitamin D Project.
Born out of an unpredictable event that disrupted countless lives, this project aims to spread positivity and gratitude, reinforcing the idea that a home doesn’t need to be grand to be meaningful. It just simply needs to reflect who we are and be a space we’re proud to call our own.
The Vitamin D Project has gained the attention of many who value sustainability, realism and community. If Africa’s story intrigues you, we would love for you to read more about her in Issue 21: https://aphrochic.com/issue-21
