Silence is golden and will often do more than all the words that can be uttered.

I've been saying it for the longest time: The bulk of women are not thrilled by nice guys. Guys, be yourself. Stop acting like a nice guy, and be yourself. Be respectful, but be you!!! Nice guys are scared to say "NO!" Be playful, be corny, but be yourself! Even if you are a nice guy, get hooked up with someone. She still likes to laugh!

An essential characteristic of many attachments we have towards people or things is based on pride. How does God break this? He will show you the actual value that attachments place on you. The true identity of this idol is revealed, and pride is exposed. When people give up their pride, they can worship the GREAT I AM! They will then have a clearer understanding of God. Following

"If someone wants you to desire them but doesn't want you or respect you unless they want s*x, money, or validation, walk away. They will only use your heart for their amusement. They don't see you as a person with emotions; they see you as something to make themselves feel valued."

A person's top priority can be either God or money, but it cannot be both. Believers must not be anxious about their daily needs. Jesus assures us that our heavenly Father knows what we require. We should wholeheartedly focus on seeking His kingdom and righteousness and rest assured that He will meet our daily needs.

Giving up a life of sin means you have nothing to lose. A life of sin brings all kinds of pain. You become dangerous to the Kingdom of darkness. Once you had so much to lose (SIN), when you gave up that life; Now what can the enemy use against you when you've given all that up for Christ the King of Glory.

Trust God's view! Trust what he is telling you. You can only see bits of the picture. God sees it all from start to finish. He has your best interest.

Deborah, the prophet, governed Israel during the reign of Jabin, a Canaanite king who was very cruel to the children of Israel. Life in the villages was harsh. The people were plundered and fled to the fortified cities for protection. Then the Lord raised up Deborah, who was like a loving mother to Israel. God sent a message through her to Barak that he should prepare to meet Sisera, Jabin's general, in battle. Barak refused to go unless Deborah went with him. She agreed but warned him that because of his lack of faith in the words of the Lord, the honor of killing Sisera would go to a woman, not to Barak.

The Israelites, having again separated themselves from God by idolatry, were grievously oppressed by [their] enemies. The property and even the lives of the people were in constant danger. Hence the villages and lonely dwellings were deserted, and the people congregated in the walled cities. The highroads were unoccupied, and the people went from place to place by unfrequented byways. At the places for drawing water, many were robbed and even murdered, and to add to their distress, the Israelites were unarmed. Among forty thousand men, not a sword or a spear could be found.

For twenty years, the Israelites groaned under the yoke of the oppressor; then they turned from their idolatry (KEY WORD) and with humiliation and repentance cried unto the Lord for deliverance. They did not cry in vain. There was dwelling in Israel a woman illustrious for her piety, and through her, the Lord chose to deliver His people. Her name was Deborah. She was known as a prophetess, and in the absence of the usual magistrates, the people had sought her for counsel and justice.

The Lord communicated to Deborah His purpose to destroy the enemies of Israel.

"First, you must watch. Watch carefully so that you won't speak hastily, fretfully, or impatiently. Watch, so that pride won't find a place in your heart. Watch, so that evil passions won't overcome you, instead of you subduing them. Watch, so that a careless and indifferent spirit doesn't come upon you, and you don't neglect your duties, becoming light and trivial, and your influence doesn't become harmful instead of helpful."
