In the Hidden Life of Trees writes about his observations how trees form communities and communicate. They have something he calls Wood Wide Web. I found all that veru facinating and wanted to make those featires visible. ICM proved to be a perfect technique for that. The result is a series of 10 photos which was exhibited in 2023. You will see them all now and this is the title image.

And finally for this series ‘Sea Loch Shores’ shot at dusk on the beautiful Isle of Arran. The island is wonderful for its east coast sunrises, sandstone beaches, west coast sunsets and gorgeous jaggy mountains (when I was a kid I actually was terrified of this island that we went past so often. I must have heard about mountaineering accidents but my five year old brain thought that meant it was so SPIKY that if you stepped foot on the island you would die instantly). It has to be said there is *sometimes* a midge or two around and they may expect a bio-donation from you to keep the ecosystem flourishing.

Dusk light over a local loch features in this image. Shot on the mighty Canon G10 back in the day! This body of Water is called Clatteringshaws and it’s part of the Galloway Hydro Electric scheme. Also famous for its amazing light, gorgeous backdrop of hills, stargazing and aurora watching in the and very near to the core area of the Sometimes it’s choppy and wild, other times flat calm with a gentle mist lifting off the surface. Or completely iced over with mauves and pinks reflecting in the dusk. I could talk about it all day!
