The Turning Time 🍂
As October tips into November, the air shifts — softer, thinner, a little more alive. Across the world, people mark this threshold in their own ways.
In the old Celtic lands, it’s Samhain — the fire festival that ends the harvest and begins the dark half of the year. A time to honour ancestors, listen to the quiet, and remember that endings are beginnings in disguise.
Elsewhere, candles glow for Día de los Mu***os, All Hallows’ Eve, and All Saints’ Day — celebrations of memory, love, and light that bridge worlds seen and unseen.
For us, as image-makers, it’s a beautiful time to explore the in-between — to blur edges, play with motion, and let the spirit of the season move through the lens.
Here’s to the hush, the firelight, and the beauty of what’s fading and becoming.
