Chimpagne - 13% Champagne Yeast Strong Pale Ale. This might be my biggest “good surprise” beer of last year. I’m not mad on Champagne yeast beers, but this being double fermented, only the second go on the fizzy stuff, makes for a beautiful, rich and super-boozy special edition brew. Happy Sunday. My afternoon will be spent admiring the mountains bathing in the sun with this monstrous 16.58% Anniversary Beer from - first impressions are a huge cacao nib blast with some beautiful balancing nutty notes and a smooth barrel finish.
