Colompton Beer Club #228- Brad From Philly.

What's up, y'all? This week on the podcast, we welcome back Eli and Beltus as we dive into another wild mix of sports, culture, and comedy.
We kick things off with Monday Night Football, where the Detroit Lions pulled off a 38–30 victory over the Baltimore Ravens in what became the most-watched MNF game ever. From there, we joke about moon phases possibly playing a role in Detroit’s wins, and we recap the nail-biting finishes from Sunday’s 1:00 PM NFL slate.
The conversation shifts into some hilarious territory—debating the absurdity of the Rapture, breaking down America’s tipping culture, and asking why the U.S. still refuses to use the metric system.
Dante introduces the concept of the “Human Library,” which Eli cleverly links back to podcasting itself. Steve adds some hip-hop lore with a look at Pete Nice and 3rd Bass, and we all share stories of street fights, including the legendary Brad from Philly. tale.
From chaos around Steve’s car to our Week 4 NFL picks, the laughs keep coming. To top it all off, we sip and review Trickster IPA by Green Man Brewery and Belgian Golden Ale by Guilford Hall Brewery.
Thank you to all who have been listening to and supporting the show. And thank you for the feedback and shout-outs from many others.
The show is available on MANY PLATFORMS.

Reviewed in Episode 227 – East IPA by Brooklyn Brewery.
This is a 6.9% ABV IPA that blends British tradition with American hop character. Expect stone fruit, citrus peel, juniper, and a firm bitterness balanced by caramel malts. Bold yet refined—one to try. Recommended! Special guest Eli gave this a 7.6! Full review on podcast. Have a beer suggestion? Send it to us!

Colompton Beer Club #227- Lexington Place (IYKYK)

What's up, gang and welcome to 227. This week our buddy Eli returns as we celebrate his recent engagement. We do a quick catch up before diving into another packed week of conversation.
We breakdown NFL Week 3 with previews, predictions, and a spotlight on the Detroit vs. Baltimore matchup, while debating if dessert should count as “leftovers” and whether the Monday Night Football doubleheader is a blessing or a burden.
Dante shares his frustrations about society’s growing divisions in a recent Facebook post, along with reactions to the news of Charlie Kirk’s death. We also weigh in on the cancellation of Jimmy Kimmel’s show, the controversy surrounding artist D4vd, and which NFL coaches might be on the hot seat this season.
To top it all off, we sip and review Scoville Jalapeño IPA by Jailbreak Brewing Company and East IPA by Brooklyn Brewery. Grab a glass, join the conversation, and see where the night takes us.
Thank you to all who have been listening to and supporting the show. And thank you for the feedback and shout-outs from many others.

This is a 6.9% ABV American IPA brewed with fresh jalapeños and cilantro. It brings a gentle pepper heat layered over citrus-floral hops, balanced by a crisp malt backbone. Spicy, unique, but still drinkable—this one stands out. Barely, but officially Recommended! Special guest Eli gave this a 6 7. So kinda a toss-up. Try it! Full review on podcast. Colompton Beer Club #226- Chores With the Mormons

In this week’s episode of Colompton Beer Club, we kick things off with an NFL Week 1 recap and share our picks and previews for Week 2. From Buffalo’s dramatic comeback win over Baltimore to Green Bay’s victory over Washington on Thursday Night Football, we’ve got plenty to break down.
Beyond the gridiron, we head into lighter topics like the county fair and America’s growing weight problem, teenage fashion choices, and the evolution of men’s style through the years.
We also cover some more serious news, including the passing of Charlie Kirk and the tragic shooting at the Naval Academy.
Gambling takes center stage with a wild story of a bettor’s 20-leg parlay, and for Last Call, we bring the heat with some “Hot Takes.”
To top it all off, we sip and review Grapefruit Shine from Burnish Beer Co. and Southern Cross ESB from MB Beer. Grab a cold one and join us for laughs, sports talk, serious reflections, and everything in between.

Colompton Beer Club #225- The Great Return of Sports

On this week’s Colompton Beer Club, we break down the code of honor in street fights and dive into the chaos of Thursday Night Football with Philadelphia taking on Dallas.
While watching the Chiefs battle the Chargers, we lay out our bold predictions for the 2025 NFL division winners. But it’s not all sports—our conversation takes some unexpected turns, from misinterpreting the Divinyls’ “I Touch Myself” to the confusing visuals of George Michael’s music videos, and even the surprising Canadian tale of paying rent with s*x.
We also get introduced to Karol G at the Friday Night Football halftime show before planning our upcoming Baltimore trip to catch Sunday’s games, bar specials, and the famously fan-friendly concession prices at M&T Stadium.
To top it all off, we sip and review two brews: Victoria by Grupo Modelo S.A. de C.V. and Chestnut Praline by Southern Tier Brewing Company.
