Supreme Court withdraws stay for Aniruddhsinh Jadeja

Aniruddhsinh Jadeja of Ribda, sentenced to life in the Popat Sorathia case, now faces renewed legal pressure. On Thursday, September 18, the Supreme Court had granted a one-week stay on his surrender order. However, on Friday, September 19, the court withdrew the stay. As a result, Jadeja must surrender by 8 PM on Friday night.

અનિરુદ્ધસિંહ જાડેજાની મુશ્કેલી વધી, સુપ્રીમ કોર્ટે સ્ટે પાછો ખેંચ્યો

ગોંડલના ચકચારી પૂર્વ ધારાસભ્ય પોપટ સોરઠિયા હત્યા કેસમાં આજીવન કેદની સજા પામેલા રીબડા ના અનિરુદ્ધસિંહ જાડેજાની મુશ્કેલીમાં ફરી વધારો થયો છે. ગુરુવારે 18મી સપ્ટેમ્બરના રોજ સુપ્રીમ કોર્ટે અનિરુદ્ધસિંહના આત્મસમર્પણના આદેશ પર એક અઠવાડિયા માટે સ્ટે આપ્યો હતો. પરંતુ શુક્રવારે 19મી સપ્ટેમ્બરના રોજ કોર્ટે આ સ્ટે પરત ખેંચી લીધો છે. આથી શુક્રવારે રાતે જ અનિરુદ્ધસિંહ જાડેજા એ 8 વાગ્યા સુધીમાં આત્મસમર્પણ કરવું પડશે.

Peanut sales at support price allowed only after verification

Farmers across Saurashtra, including Rajkot, are facing concerns over recent messages stating that many registrations for selling peanuts at support prices have been canceled. This caused unrest among farmers in villages like Kankot, Ramnagar, and Vagudd, while farmers in Jasdan also expressed their protests. Clarifying the situation, the District Agriculture Officer said that these messages are part of a routine verification process, and farmers need not worry about their registrations.

રાજકોટ સહિત સૌરાષ્ટ્રના ખેડૂતોની ચિંતામાં ફરીથી એકવાર વધારો થયો છે. ટેકાના ભાવે મગફળીના રજિસ્ટ્રેશન કરાવેલા અનેક ખેડૂતોના રજિસ્ટ્રેશન રદ થયા હોવાના મેસેજ મળતા ખેડૂતોમાં ભારે રોષ જોવા મળી રહ્યો છે. રાજકોટ તાલુકાના કણકોટ, રામનગર અને વાગુદડ જેવા ગામોમાં ખેડૂતો એકઠા થયા હતા અને જસદણ પંથકમાં પણ ખેડૂતોએ વિરોધ નોંધાવ્યો હતો. આ સમગ્ર મામલે જિલ્લા ખેતીવાડી અધિકારીએ સ્પષ્ટતા કરતા જણાવ્યું હતું કે, આ મેસેજ માત્ર ચકાસણીનો એક ભાગ છે અને ખેડૂતોએ ગભરાવાની જરૂર નથી.

Three aerobridges opened for use at Hirasar International Airport

At Rajkot’s Hirasar International Airport, five aerobridges have been built to make travel easier for passengers. These allow direct boarding from the terminal to the aircraft, saving both time and effort. Out of the five, two aerobridges are already in daily use, while one has been kept reserved for emergencies. The remaining two are meant for international flights, but since no international services have started yet, they remain closed. With this facility in place, airlines no longer need to run buses or set up stairs for boarding, offering smoother operations for passengers.

હીરાસર ઈન્ટરનેશનલ એરપોર્ટમાં પાંચ એરો બ્રિજમાંથી ત્રણ ખુલ્લા મુકાયા

રાજકોટના ઈન્ટરનેશનલ એરપોર્ટમાં મુસાફરોની સુવિધા માટે પાંચ જેટલા એરો બ્રિજ તૈયાર કરવામાં આવ્યા છે. જે થકી મુસાફરો ટર્મિનલમાંથી સીધા જ વિમાનમાં પ્રવેશી-ઉતરી શકે છે સાથે સમયમાં પણ બચાવ થઈ રહ્યો છે. હીરાસર ખાતે કાર્યરત થયેલ ઈન્ટરનેશનલ એરપોર્ટમાં પાંચ એરો બ્રિજ તૈયાર થઈ ચુકયા છે જેમાં હાલ બે એરોબ્રિજનો ડેઈલી વપરાશ થયો છે. જયારે એક એરોબ્રિજ ઈમરજન્સી માટે રિઝર્વ રખાયો છે બાકીના બે ઈન્ટરનેશનલ ફલાઈટ માટેના છે પરંતુ હાલ એક પણ ઈન્ટરનેશનલ ફલાઈટ શરૂ થઈ નથી માટે આ બંને એરોબ્રિજ બંધ હાલતમાં છે. મહત્વનું છે કે એરપોર્ટમાં એરો બ્રીજની સુવિધા ઉપલબ્ધ થતા એર લાઈન્સ કંપનીઓને બસ દોડાવવા અને સીડી લગાડવાની ઝંઝટમાંથી મુકિત મળી છે.

Illegal activity exposed behind hotel and spa in Rajkot

The Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) conducted a raid at Hotel Hari Palace, located behind the Rajkot ST bus station, and uncovered unlawful activities allegedly being carried out with the involvement of the hotel owner and a middleman. During the raid, hotel owner Pravin Pragjibhai Tank and his son Naimish were taken into custody. Reports suggest that such operations had been ongoing for nearly eight months. Police seized around Rs 29,000 in cash and recorded the statement of a woman from Maharashtra as a witness. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to trace the main accused, middleman Akash Modal.

રાજકોટ એસ.ટી બસ સ્ટેશનની પાછળ આવેલી હોટલ હરિપેલેસમાં દલાલ અને હોટલ માલિકની મીલીભગતથી ચાલતા કુટણખાના પર દરોડો પાડી એન્ટી હ્યુમન ટ્રાફિકીંગ યુનીટ ની ટીમે હોટલ માલિક પ્રવિણ પ્રાગજીભાઈ ટાંક અને તેનો પુત્ર નૈમીષ ને પકડી પાડ્યા હતા. નોંધનીય છે કે દલાલ અને હોટલ માલિકની મીલીભગતથી છેલ્લા આઠેક માસથી દેહવિક્રયનું કારસ્તાન ચાલતું હોવાની વિગતો સામે આવી હતી. પોલીસે રૂા. ર૯ હજારની મત્તા કબજે કરી મહારાષ્ટ્રની એક રૂપલલના ને સાક્ષી બનાવી દલાલ આકાશ મોડોલની શોધખોળ હાથ ધરી છે.

Third day of IT department operation in Morbi and Rajkot

A large-scale search by the Income Tax department in Morbi and Rajkot has created a stir in Saurashtra’s business circles. The operation, focused on well-known ceramic groups including Lavis and Metro, has so far led to the seizure of ₹11 crore in cash and jewellery worth around ₹5 crore. Investigations have also revealed benami accounts amounting to over ₹250 crore, marking one of the biggest tax evasion cases uncovered in the region.

Rajkot district panchayat office faces fresh controversy

The Rajkot district panchayat office has once again come under the spotlight. Recently, the opposition raised allegations of irregularities in transfer processes, leading to the formation of an inquiry committee. Now, another issue has surfaced—many of the fire safety tools in the office have expired and remain unused, gathering dust. Despite extinguishers being past their valid date by one to two years, the administration had not acted. However, the District Development Officer has assured that an immediate review will be conducted and the expired equipment will be replaced without delay.

રાજકોટ જિલ્લા પંચાયત કચેરી ફરી આવી વિવાદમાં

તાજેતરમાં રાજકોટ જિલ્લા પંચાયત કચેરી ટ્રાન્સફરમાં લાખોનું કૌભાંડ થયાનો આરોપ વિપક્ષ દ્વારા લગાવવામાં આવ્યો હતો. જે અંગે તપાસ કમિટી રચવામાં આવી છે. ત્યારે હવે કચેરીમાં ફાયર સેફટીના સાધનો એક્સપાયર થઈ ગયા હોવાનું સામે આવ્યું છે. ફાયર સેફટીના અનેક સાધનો ધૂળ ખાઈ રહ્યા છે. તો 1-2 વર્ષ જુના એક્સપાયર થયેલા એક્સટિંગ્વિશર હોવા છતાં તંત્ર ઘોર નિંદ્રામાં છે. જોકે ડીડીઓ દ્વારા આ મામલે પણ તપાસ કરી તાત્કાલિક ફાયરના બાટલા બદલવાની ખાતરી આપવામાં આવી છે.

Jwala Gutta donates 14.5 litres of breast milk inspiring act of motherhood and humanity

India’s badminton star Jwala Gutta has taken an inspiring step that has earned her wide appreciation. After giving birth to her daughter Meera in April this year, Jwala donated 14.5 litres of breast milk to a milk bank. According to reports, she visited a government hospital daily to donate around 600 millilitres of breast milk. The purpose was to help infants who have lost their mothers as well as premature and critically ill babies in hospitals.

ભારતની બૅડ્‌મિન્ટન સ્ટાર જ્વાલા ગુટ્ટાએ એક અનોખી પહેલ કરી છે. જેના માટે તેને ઘણી પ્રશંસા મળી રહી છે. આ વર્ષે એપ્રિલ મહિનામાં મીરા નામની દીકરીને જન્મ આપીને બીજી વખત માતા બનેલી જ્વાલાએ એક મિલ્ક-બૅન્કને ૧૪.૫ લીટર બ્રેસ્ટ-મિલ્ક દાન કર્યું છે. એક અહેવાલ અનુસાર તે દરરોજ સરકારી હૉસ્પિટલમાં ૬૦૦ મિલીલીટર બ્રેસ્ટ-મિલ્કનું દાન કરવા જતી હતી. જેનો હેતુ એવાં બાળકો જેમની માતા નથી તેમ જ હૉસ્પિટલોમાં અકાળે જન્મેલાં અથવા ગંભીર રીતે બીમાર બાળકોને મદદ કરવાનો છે.

Tragic accident on Rajkot Ring Road claims two lives

A serious accident took place on the night of September 17 near Gondal Chokdi on Rajkot’s 150-foot Ring Road, where a large container overturned due to unknown reasons. Two people lost their lives inside the container, while three others sustained injuries and were shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment. Fire department and police teams rushed to the spot and carried out further action. With the help of two cranes and three JCB machines, the bodies were recovered. Among the deceased, one has been identified as a 19-year-old named Suren Adivasi.

રાજકોટના 150 ફૂટ રિંગ રોડ પર કન્ટેનર પલટતા બેના મોત

રાજકોટ શહેરના 150 ફૂટ રિંગ રોડ પર ગોંડલ ચોકડી નજીક 17 સપ્ટેમ્બરની રાતે ગંભીર અકસ્માતની ઘટના સર્જાઈ હતી. મોટું કન્ટેનર અગમ્ય કારણોસર પલટી મારતા બે વ્યક્તિના કન્ટેનરની અંદર જ મોત નીપજ્યાં હતાં. જયારે અન્ય ત્રણ લોકો ઈજાગ્રસ્ત થતાં તેઓને સારવાર અર્થે સિવિલ હોસ્પિટલ ખસેડવામાં આવ્યાં હતાં. જયારે ઘટના અંગે ફાયર વિભાગ તથા પોલીસની ટીમને કરતા ઘટના સ્થળે દોડી જઈ આગળ ની કાર્યવાહી હાથ ધરી હતી. મહત્વનું છે કે 2 ક્રેન, 3 JCBની મદદથી મૃતદેહને બહાર કાઢવામાં આવ્યાં હતાં. ત્યારે મળતી માહિતી અનુસાર બે મૃતકમાં એક 19 વર્ષીય સુરેન આદિવાસી હોવાની માહિતી મળી છે.

1300 ST buses arranged for PM Modi public gathering in Bhavnagar

A large-scale public gathering of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been scheduled in Bhavnagar on September 20. To facilitate the movement of people attending the event, around 1300 ST buses have been arranged from different divisions across Gujarat. These buses will reach Bhavnagar by the evening of September 19. People from various districts including Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Mehsana, Nadiad, and Junagadh will be brought to the venue and taken back through these services.

20 સપ્ટેમ્બર ના રોજ પીએમ મોદી ની જાહેરસભા હેતુ ૧૩૦૦ એસટી બસો દોડાવાશે

આગામી તા. 20 ના રોજ ભાવનગર ખાતે વડાપ્રધાન ની જાહેરસભાના કાર્યક્રમ નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. ત્યારે આ જાહેરસભામાં મેદની ભેગી કરવા રાજયના જુદા જુદા એસટી ડિવિઝનોમાંથી 1300 જેટલી એસ.ટી બસો ભાડે કરવામાં આવી છે. જે તમામ એસટી બસો તા. 19નાં શુક્રવારે સાંજ સુધીમાં ભાવનગર પહોંચી જશે. નોંધનીય છે કે ભાવનગર જિલ્લાનાં જુદા જુદા વિસ્તારમાંથી લોકોને જાહેર સભામાં લાવવા અને લઈ જવા માટે અમદાવાદ, વડોદરા, મહેસાણા, નડીઆદ, જૂનાગઢ સહિતના જિલ્લાઓમાંથી એસ.ટી બસો ભાવનગર આવશે.

Election Commission to add candidate photos on EVMs

The Election Commission has issued new guidelines for Electronic Voting Machines. From now on, EVMs will display not only the election symbol but also a colored photograph of each candidate. This update will begin with the Bihar Assembly elections. Officials explained that candidates with similar names often create confusion among voters. The addition of photographs will help voters clearly recognize their chosen candidate and cast their vote with more confidence.

ચૂંટણી પંચે EVM ને લઈ નવી માર્ગદર્શિકા જાહેર કરી છે. હવે EVM માં ચૂંટણી પ્રતીકો સાથે રંગીન ફોટાનો સમાવેશ થશે. જે બિહાર વિધાનસભા ચૂંટણીથી શરૂ થશે. મહત્વનું છે કે ચૂંટણી પંચે બુધવારે આ જાહેરાત કરતા જણાવ્યું હતું કે, સમાન નામ ધરાવતા ઉમેદવારો ઘણીવાર મતદારોમાં મૂંઝવણ પેદા કરે છે. જે ઉકેલવા માટે ચૂંટણી લડતા ઉમેદવારનો રંગીન ફોટો હવે EVM પર મૂકવામાં આવશે, જેનાથી મતદારો તેમના પસંદગીના ઉમેદવારને યોગ્ય રીતે ઓળખી શકશે અને મતદાન કરી શકશે.

Young man loses life in hit and run on Kuwadva Road

A late-night hit and run incident took place on the Rajkot Ahmedabad Highway. Near Bhimeshwar Mahadev Temple, Narendra Singh Hirasinh Rawat was crossing the road when he was struck by an unknown vehicle, leading to his death on the spot. The sudden incident created panic in the area. Based on a complaint filed by the victim’s brother, Jagdish Rawat, Kuwadva Road Police have registered a case against the unidentified driver and launched an investigation to trace and arrest the accused.

કુવાડવા રોડ પર હીટ એન્ડ રન: અજાણ્યાં વાહનની ટક્કરે યુવાનનું ઘટનાસ્થળે જ મોત

રાજકોટ અમદાવાદ હાઈવે પર રાત્રિના હીટ એન્ડ રનની ઘટના બની હતી. ભીમેશ્વર મહાદેવ મંદિર નજીક રોડ ક્રોસ કરી રહેલા નરેન્દ્રસિંહ હીરાસિંહ રાવતને અજાણ્યા વાહને હડફેટે લેતા યુવાને ઘટનાસ્થળે જ દમ તોડી દેતાં અરેરાટી વ્યાપી ગઈ હતી. બનાવ અંગે મૃતકના ભાઈ જગદીશ રાવત ની ફરિયાદ ના આધારે કુવાડવા રોડ પોલીસે અજાણ્યા વાહન ચાલક સામે ગુનો નોંધી તેને ઝડપી લેવા તપાસ હાથ ધરી છે.

Congress stages protest over allegations of corruption in Ruda roads

At the Rajkot Urban Development Authority (RUDA) office, Youth Congress workers held a protest highlighting the poor condition of city roads and raising concerns about alleged corruption. A large number of workers joined the demonstration. As part of their protest, they gathered inside the RUDA officer’s chamber and recited devotional chants. Police eventually intervened and escorted the leaders out of the premises to bring the situation under control.

રૂડા હસ્તકનાં રસ્તાઓમાં ભ્રષ્ટાચારના આક્ષેપો સાથે કોંગ્રેસીઓએ નોંધાવ્યો વિરોધ

રાજકોટ અર્બન ડેવલપમેન્ટ ઓથોરિટી કચેરી ખાતે આજે યુથ કોંગ્રેસના કાર્યકરોએ શહેર અને આસપાસના વિસ્તારના રસ્તાઓની બિસ્માર હાલત અને વ્યાપક ભ્રષ્ટાચારના મુદ્દે વિરોધ પ્રદર્શન યોજ્યું હતું. આ વિરોધમાં મોટી સંખ્યામાં કાર્યકરો જોડાયા હતા. કોંગ્રેસીઓએ રૂડા અધિકારીની ચેમ્બરમાં રામધૂન બોલાવી વિરોધ પ્રદર્શન કર્યું હતું. જેને લઈને પોલીસે કોંગ્રેસના તમામ આગેવાનોને પકડી-પકડીને બહાર કાઢવાની ફરજ પડી હતી.
