Breaking News: President Kiir Appointment Eight Governors and Three Admistrators

Finally the Awaited Appointment of Governors is over. President Kiir has made the selection of eight Governors and three Administrators.
The wait is over and now the governors of eight states have been appointed in the presidential decree number 51. The decree was announced on the state national TV (SSBC) this evening.

The following list contains the name of people who the president appointed as Governors.

1. Emmanuel Adil Athony - Central Equatoria State

2. Tong Akeen Ngor - Northern Bahr El Gazal State

3. Makur Kulang - Lakes State

4. Dr. Joseph Nguen Monytuil - Unity State

5. Sarah Kuletto - Western Bahr El Gazal State

6. Alfred Lutuyu - Western Equatoria State

7. Louis Lobong Lojore - Eastern Equatoria State

8. Bona Panek Biar - Warrap State.

These are the three Administrators appointed by president Kiir.

1. Kuol Biem Kuol - Abyei Administrative Area.

2. Joshua Konyi - Pibor Administrative Area

3. William Chol Awulik - Ruweng Administrative Area.

President Kiir: Let the Professional Medical Doctors Lead Us to Combat COVID-19

President has been moved by the increasing of the Coronavirus after announcing last week to lift up the lockdown.

The cases continues to rise and more death were recorded which cannot be fully ruled out to be COVID-19 death related

He said that the political leaders that included him and the first Vice Riek Machar will step back and let medical doctors lead the High level of Task Force.

"We will step back as political leaders from the High-level Taskforce on COVID-19 and allow medical professionals to take charge, and we can step in from time to time when that is necessary".
