The Climate Alarm Clock is three years old!
What started out as a conversation between a group of strangers who felt there was more to be done by the media, has now become a podcast that has been listened to by 21K+ in more than 50 countries around the world!
Our mission has always been to inform the public, inspire action, change perspectives and advocate for systems change, but there's been many times where that last one in particular had us feeling like we were pushing the boulder up the hill.
The one thing that has always kept us going is the community that has grown out of the pod.
On the days we felt like the work we are doing is falling on deaf ears, we remind ourselves of the people who tune in to hear us try and cut through the clutter when it comes to the latest climate news.
From the scary to the hopeful, and the angry to the absurd, together we have done our best to make sense of the climate crisis, find our voices and even share a little laugh along the way.
We're also unbelievably lucky to have had amazing contributors guest feature on the podcast over the years - too many to list in full - but the opportunities that we have had to learn from people who are so unbelievably knowledgeable goes to show just how generous people in the climate space truly are.
All social change starts with a conversation. While you'll have heard us say MANY times that we're ready for less talk and more action from our political leaders and Irish media, we're proud to be able to provide a space where people can have the conversations about climate change and how it effects our society.
The new series of The Climate Alarm Clock comes out on the new release day of Wednesday the 16th of October. Available on Spotify, Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcasts, make sure to subscribe to get notified of new episodes.
