Amazing Achievement

Today we flew three incredible private passengers to space: Keisha Schahaff, Anastatia Mayers and Jon Goodwin. Congratulations Virgin Galactic commercial astronauts 011, 012 and 013 – welcome to the club! https://virg.in/UF6z

Praises be to the Most High, and to all of you for your support. We did this together.

41 days, 7 hours, 5 minutes.

Extra! Extra!

The row is now warm days and cool nights, and we’re pleased to report that Dadli Gyal is gliding through the water on the strength of good wind, waves, and woman power as we approach the finish line.

We’re tired and pumped up at the same time, and we’re pretty certain that we’re going to erupt with elation at the sight of the Kauai coastline. We might just post!

That said, we’ve got some things on our minds—like food.

Here are our first meal requests:

Samara and Christal—nice, fat, juicy steaks (medium well) and French Fries. Or maybe BBQ ribs. Or both. 🥩🍟🍖

Kevinia—fresh fruits—mangoes, pineapple, etc, and grilled chicken breast, rice or fries and veggies. 🥭🍍🍗

Coconut water for everyone. 🥥

What are we looking forward to most?

Sam—getting off the boat and not seeing it again for a while.

Kevinia—shower, sleep and a real toilet.

Christal—land, real food and recuperation.

What’s keeping us pumped up these days?

Watching the miles to finish dwindling.

Stay tuned to the platforms of the World’s Toughest Row for the livestream of our arrival and, after that, our arrival video.

Remember, this is for a cause—to establish a home for girls in conflict with the law, so please give at https://www.gofundme.com/f/team-antigua-island-girlsback-on-the-row-again and Caribbean Union Bank, Acct # 20004631, or call our support team at 268 736-6068. We also still have bills to pay, so we’re asking you please to rally with us these next few hundred miles and after.

The countdown is on!

Team Antigua Island Girls have just over 300 nautical miles to go before they reach the Hawaii finish line of their intrepid Pacific Ocean challenge.

The girls are currently due to reach land on Saturday afternoon.

Christal Clashing, Kevinia Francis and Samara Emmanuel retain ninth position out of the 14 teams that departed on June 12.

The trio are raising funds for a facility for young female offenders.

🐳🐳🐬🐬🐬Whales and dolphins are keeping the team company as they battle the headwinds and ocean currents intent on pushing them back to the coast and the expected early-days seasickness.

Christal and Samara are less affected than Kevinia, who is trying different remedies.

It’s brutal out there, with the adjustment to the shifts, sleep deprivation, and the elements, but this is what the team expected and trained for. .

Remember, they still need to cover row costs and raise money for their cause—the establishment of a home for girls in conflict with the law. While they row towards the finish line, let’s do our part by donating at antigua-island-girlsback-on-the-row-again and Caribbean Union Bank, Acct # 20004631. You may also call our support team at 736-6068. No donation is two small.

Track the fleet on YB Races. Download from the App/Play Store. Add World’s Toughest Row. Rally!
