An article in Harper's Magazine describes how Spotify undermines independent artists. In 2017, the company launched its "Perfect Fit Content" (PFC) program, which replaces indie artists' music with cheaper tracks. PFC music is often made by "ghost artists" who are not well-known or may not even exist. Spotify playlist editors were encouraged and later pressured to add PFC songs to playlists. PFC tracks are often created by musicians working on a contractual basis, who feel that the system is unfair but do it anyway because they need the money. Spotify has not been transparent about the use of PFC tracks, which contradicts the company's marketing of itself as a platform for discovery and a meritocracy. https://smpl.is/9ypu5

Content Security Policy is giving me the run around. In an age where every company integrates with tons of third-party services, how does anyone figure out what to put in the allow list? It's definitely easy to read and understand:

Getting ready for the final round of Grammy voting! For the first round, I listened to 400+ submissions. This one will be much more focused. Just need a cup of tea and I am good to go! Very exciting.

Tried replybox as the commenting system for a new security website today. It’s lightweight and very privacy friendly. Unfortunately, it does not work on iOS due to third party cookies being blocked. What are other opinions?
