Senator Osita Izunaso is a top notch frontline politician elected to join the Nigerian 10th Senate under the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) from Imo West Senatorial District of Imo State.
Osita, is quintessentially, a humanist, humble, philanthropist, Lawyer, Journalist, Nigerian Finance professional, administrator, and investment influencer who intends to surrender his rich pedigrees and competencies to the Glory of God and the upliftment of the 10th Senate as its President.

Osita Izunaso is an outstanding son of Imo State currently enjoying the active support and cooperation of his home state 'talk and do' Governor HE Hope Uzodinma whose outstanding life touching projects littered across have rewritten the tragic consequences or tragic narratives of Imo State hitherto left in the hands of shenanigans for years.
Osita on his own, has over the last decade committed him self to service of excellence and distinction in pursuit of service to humanity and Nigerian Nation.
He began his legislative career in 1999 with his appointment as Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives and that of Senate President. He was also Chief Press Secretary to the Hon Minister of Youth and Sports and that of Labour and Productivity.
Propelled further by compelling call for service to the nation he got elected twice between 1992 and 1999 as member of the Federal House of Representatives and was elected Senator in 2007. As an astute tested and trusted administrator, he was also the one time Organising Secretary of the Ruling party APC.
While in the Senate!, he was truly distinguished and discharged the mandate of the office with religious zeal and untainted character. He was appointed into several Committees such as Rules and Business, Local and Foreign Debts, Housing, Gas, Foreign Affairs and Sports.
While in office he sponsored some credible bills that have enhanced national development, such as bills for the conveyance of Persons in Articulated Vehicle Bill, Treatment and Care of Victims of Conflict, National Agency for the promotion and Preservation of Local Languages in Nigeria and amendment of the Oil Pipelines Act amendments.
Osita as Chairman of the House on oil and gas rose to become a Senator with character and integrity acting in his capacity as Chairman on Gas, was responsible for a controversial investigation into an alleged huge increase in the contract sum of the Escravos GTL project from $1.7 billion to $5.9 billions.
Today Nigeria has signed a contract that requires the exportation of its gas resources outside the country making it one of the highest foreign income earners for it.
It is evident from the above facts that Imo West Senator elect is indeed best foot put forward by Ndi Igbo for the office of the 10th Senate President. The 10th Senate, will be made up of former governors and Senators who will be coming with huge experiences. They will be glad to elect as its Senate President a man who understand the workings of the Senate and it's story line.
This is the reason why most responsible politicians within and outside party cleavages are standing up to agitate for the zoning of the Senate President to South East and Senator Osita Izunaso as the man to beat for the office.
We all believe that contesting for the 10th Senate President will be a pleasurable leisure walk through the park.
