Born in '90s San Francisco rave chill-out rooms, their ritualistic, mind-expanding soundscapes blend ceremonial magick with electronic hypnosis. Some tracks lean overly dance-heavy (and I skip them), others are textural, ambient soundscapes (and I come back to them).

I really didn’t expect to find this on Bandcamp. This is the epitome of true chill-out music. In some ways, it feels similar to The KLF’s classic Chill Out. The way spoken words are playfully woven into the electronics is pure Orb style.

I've tried many speakers and studio monitors over the past years from brands like BW, KEF, Yamaha, Mission, Adam, Dynaudio... Some of them were good, some were very good, and some yeah.. extremely good. Yet there was one speaker to rule them all: Genelec "The One."

In my experience, there is no direct competition when it comes to their combination of sound, precision, depth, clarity, neutrality, and compact size. This might sound like an ad, but for ambient music specifically, nothing else compares. The controlled deep bass, holographic imaging, and the ability to resolve micro-details are just incredible.

The only downside is the price. But it you have the money, just go for them. Life is too short for bad hi-fi.
