“On this day in June 2014, I was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame as a brown belt in BJJ. I had no idea what was ahead. By December, I earned my black belt from my professor and brother, Darren McCall. And now, ten years later, in another June moment—I receive my 2nd stripe and our Warriors for Christ BJJ Headquarters has been secured.

Only Yahweh could write this script.

Through the trials, the rejection, the loss of church, and the misunderstandings—I never stopped believing. I never stopped grappling. And He never stopped walking with me. This isn’t about status. It’s about survival, obedience, and the tables God sets for those who refuse to fold.

I’m not bragging—I’m just bearing witness.

My strength came from Christ. My stripes came through fire. And my glory belongs to God alone.

To my fellow warriors—stay faithful. Yahweh is still writing your scroll.”
