The monthly Virtual Veterans’ Series Forum brings veterans, speakers and topics to help with all aspects of challenges and different roads faced by the veteran community. From organizations to well-known speakers, podcasters, and other veterans. Our mission is to have veterans’ voices heard, bring about changes to the medical process, and improve the claims process. Along with educating both veterans and veteran ambassadors alike. Here to be a place of support for one’s overall well-being. If you are looking for resources, connections, or a safe space to share your story then join us!

This Months Speaker is Lt Col (ret) Darin Gaub, a distinguished Military Veteran, Founder of the Global Veterans Coalition and advocate for constitutional rights.

Darin brings a wealth of experience and passion for veteran support and constitutional education. Currently, he is a national spokesperson for Restore Liberty, focusing on grassroots activism and veterans’ rights.

There will also be an open forum open talk.

Hello Brothers and Sisters,
My life has had a drastic changes. Here is the biggest one we where named #2 Veteran Podcast on Fedspot February this year.

Our podcast is all about talking about things that matters to my Mil2Vet Tribe “Veterans Transition Stories” on our Mil2Vet podcast and YT Channels. We share real experiences from veterans who have successfully navigated the journey from military to veteran life.

Having retired in July 2023 after going through the medical board process, I’ve personally faced the challenges of medical separation. Despite these hurdles, my years of service allowed me to retire, and I understand the struggles of being sidelined by circumstances beyond one’s control. This experience has driven me to not only address problems but to actively seek out solutions and resources to support our community.

You tell a Marine and a Sailor to Secure the building after the job is done. The Sailor completed the job and empties the trash, turns off the lights locks up the door. The Marine completes the job then kicks the door in clears the building using CBQ technics and calls the sup saying building all secure.

College students Preditor lenders are out there waiting to put their hooks into you financially. Even on campus, they seem so cool and are at school events.

10 ways to protect yourself from Predatory lenders.

1. Research the lender before signing any loan terms.
2. Understand the terms and conditions of the loan, including interest rates and repayment terms. They could catfish you and say 0% on the billboard, but have a.term that changes to 30%
3. Look for red flags such as high-pressure sales tactics, hidden fees, and unrealistic promises of loan forgiveness.
4. Don't provide personal information to unsolicited lenders. This is a sure way to get extra debt you never get to benefit from.
5. Understand the difference between federal and private student loans.
6. Beware of "loan consolidation" offers.
7. Don't sign blank loan documents.
8. Check with your school's financial aid office for advice on student loans.
9. Be wary of lenders that guarantee approval or promise to pay off existing loans.
10. Consider alternative forms of financing such as scholarships, grants, or work-study programs.

This not-so-common common sense knowledge is just for educational purposes. So do your own research.

When writing your goals let the SMART acronym guide you.

Specific. Need to be clear about what you are achieving, such as I want to run a marathon.

Measurable. You can start by recording your progress a marathon requires training and resources write a list and check off the requirements, then list a trading regiment that you can see progress towards the goal.

Achievable. Needs to be realistic but flirt with a line you have never crossed. If you never ran a day in your life a 100-mile run is probably too big for your first goal but not your long-term goal.

Relevant. If you don’t like to run or know that is not realistic for you then find a different goal.

Timely. Set a time and hold yourself to the timeline.

Lastly, smart goals have an accountable buddy or system. Tell a friend to use an app to enroll in a class just make sure something is holding you accountable for your Smart Goal.

What are you doing to chase your goals? Did you wake up early this morning? Go for that walk/run. Send that email. Talk to that person that you need to talk to that contact you have been avoiding.

If you have not you need to go in the mirror and look at yourself and say you are not crazy enough and get out there and get it.
