Another day, Another reality.

Here are two portraits of this young boy who works with his father in a shoe-selling stall at Zebunnisa Street, Karachi.
He was shy at first because when I asked him for a picture, he said nobody has ever clicked his picture until then and was extremely happy about it.
He also started talking about the stall and the shoes he sell. When asked about why he’s not at school, he replied: “Mera abba yahan hai, mein inke sath yahan khush hun. School jaunga tou inse dour hojaunga”
Indeed, educational awareness lacks in Pakistan but at times, as we gain more knowledge in life, we start forgetting its value - same goes for the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon us.
