This is a caption I shared before the election, and it’s still true today. 💙 I was yapping about values, empowerment and standing up for what we believe in before the results came in. And I pledge to not shut up about it moving forward.🫶

And honestly? I encourage you to do the same.

For me, the coming months are going to look like ENCOURAGING YOU and HELPING YOU.

I want to encourage you to show up AUTHENTICALLY and stand up for WHAT MATTERS.

I want to help you make your business (and life) as easy as possible - with the knowledge I have (cough, branding and chatgpt lolz).

Here’s a little trick I’ve been using in my business for years. 🙌 Whenever I’m dragging my feet to TAKE ACTION, I always think about Future Kinsey. 💙

One-month-from-now Kinsey...

One-year-from-now Kinsey...

How happy is she going to be that I took action TODAY?🙌

How relieved will she be?

How grateful will she be?

How much further along will she be?

And every 👏 damn 👏 time 👏 I’ve implemented this practice and just did the thing…

I’ve BEEN SO DANG HAPPY I took action when I did. 💙

I don’t have many regrets in my life so far—

But the stuff I do regret is almost always the stuff I didn’t do.

The stuff I didn’t take action on.

SMALL ACTIONS CAN MAKE AN IMPACT.

Doing nothing does not.💙

Your vote is one small action that can make a huge collective impact.

Consider your future self, looking back:

Your average day might not exactly break the internet.

But here’s the truth—your story doesn’t have to be all “scaling mountains” or “sipping martinis in a private jet.”

It can be about the real stuff.

👍The early morning coffee runs,

👍the late-night spreadsheet sessions,

👍the ‘please hold’ music you’ve memorized (and choreographed an entire dance to) while on hold with the customer service of your new car warranty people.

That’s the gold. 🙌

Because when you share the true tales, the behind-the-scene burdens, the hilarious hiccups of your business journey...

You’re not just filling a feed; you’re striking a chord.

There’s a crowd of folks out there nodding along, thinking, “Yep, totes been there.😆”

So, post the imperfect.

Feel like you’re chasing the “consistency” unicorn in your business? I feel YOU!

There’s this big myth floating around that you need to “show up daily” in “all the places” to really make an impact and see success.

But hey, hear me out:

What if you didn’t?

What if instead of constantly running on the digital marketing hamster wheel, churning out post after post, email after email, blog after blog...

We take a quick breather and redefine what consistency really means? 😘

Consistency isn’t about showing up every single day without fail.

👉 It’s about finding a rhythm that works for YOU.

Whether it’s every other day, once a week, or bi-weekly, what matters is setting a plan that’s DOABLE, not daunting. 🙌

That’s how you’ll actually be able to SHOW UP CONSISTENTLY over time, for the long haul.

And that’s how you’ll end up building your online presence, growing your following of adoring fans, and ultimately, seeing success in your business.

So, ditch the guilt of not meeting those unrealistic daily goals.

And embrace a routine that fits into your business and life (not the other way around.)

It's okay to be repetitive on social media. In fact, it's encouraged. 🙌 And here's why:

1) NOT EVERYONE WILL SEE EVERY ONE OF YOUR POSTS.

We pour our time, energy (and souls!) into our content, so it's easy to believe that everyone in whole dang WORLD will see them and love them.

But that's just not how it works on the Gram. 🤷‍♀️

(oh wait, you're NOT anxiously refreshing your feed every morning, waiting for me to post?! 😆)

Only 10% of our followers will see our posts in their feeds (on a good day).

So, creating multiple posts about the same topic is a good way to make sure *more* of your followers hear what you have to say.

2. OUR ATTENTION SPANS ARE MINIMAL AT BEST.

Social media is, ahem, super crowded. 😆

We're all being smacked in the face so 👏 much 👏 content 👏 every single day, and it's really hard to pay attention to any one thing.

So, that said 👉 Remember the 10% of your followers who may actually see your post?

There's a good chance they may not actually pay attention to your post if they do happen to see it. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

3. WE NEED TO HEAR SOMETHING MUTLTIPLE TIMES - BEFORE IT SINKS IN.

Okay, so your post has popped into someone's feed, and they actually paused to read it...

Now, there's the roadblock of retention. 😆

Studies have shown that people need to hear / read / see something 22 TIMES before they truly remember it!

Can you believe that?

So honestly 👉 creating content about the same topic in various ways is a great idea...

And then repeating that same topic again and again is an even better idea. 😄

And the best part?

This actually makes your content planning process WAY easier. Because you do NOT need to always be creating from scratch.

So, this is your permission slip to repeat yourself, continuously, again and again, to infinity and beyond. 😉

It's actually going to make your marketing more strategic. 🥳

Hi, I'm Kinsey!👋 I founded Feel Good Social on the values of leaning into who you are and sharing your genuine story.

So today, I thought I'd share 3 Random Facts You Probably Didn't Know About Me 👇

𝟭. 𝗜 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗺.

I grew up in Montana, until my family moved to Indiana in middle school. But I was always meant to be in the mountains.

So one day, I just decided to go back. I found a room on Craigslist, threw everything I owned in a U-haul and drove to Breckenridge.

My mom thought I was going to be axe-murdered, but luckily, that didn't happen. 😆 Instead, I found a job, made friends, and finally felt like I was back where I belonged again.

𝟮. 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗲𝗮𝗿.

I've always been a proud self-proclaimed nerd. 🤓 Not only do I have a the tattoo, but I actually named my dog Tarkin after a Star Wars character.

(who knows who that is?? 🙋‍♀️😆)

Not everyone understands my nerdiness, but hey, that's okay. 😊 And our 5-yr-old nephew thinks Star Wars is cool, so there's that.

𝟯. 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗸𝗶 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸.

My parents took me skiing when I was just 3 years old, so I've pretty much been walking and skiing for the same amount of time.

In Montana, my parents owned a canoe and kayak shop - and they would trade a boat for season passes to our local mountain every year.

(It had night skiing, so we could easily go after dinner!)

And when they dragged me, kicking and screaming (👈 only slightly melodramatic here 😉) back to Indiana in middle school, I felt a little lost in all the flatness.

So when I hit 16, I started driving an hour everyday after school to this little hill in Michigan. (Let's just say, I'm excellent at skiing on ice. 😂)

And since moving to CO, well, I've been in heaven.🤗
