I am a independent designer with chalk couture, over the years of my life & after a severe buggy accident I had in 1994 ( yes I grew up old orde
r Amish) I had to face & walk through cancer & many surgeries & health situations & challenges, more times than I can count I was on Drs. I still am walking out my healing journey everyday, so I encourage you to come join me as we hang out, chit chat encourage & craft, connect & create. There are many things in my life I absolutely LOVE my darling hubby of 24 plus years & being lakeside every chance I get. Since I could never have children due to multiple surgeries & aggressive cervical cancer, I want you all to know a lil bit of the deepest parts of my heart, I can not wait to get to know each of you also as we connect on this page, I have been known & called by many to have a huge Momma heart, Auntie Laura loves her nieces & nephews just as much as she would have her own kiddos. There are many other things I love & enjoy in life including photography, nature walks, traveling and much more but the one thing I probably enjoy most is being near water wether lakeside, oceanside, or waterfalls love the relaxing sound of water, it is so relaxing & healing, I feel so near to God when I am in nature and lakeside. The one part of me I probably missed most after my accident was of course my health and life pre accident & pre cancer, but the next thing was being able to live life and have the strength to craft & create while facing the health situations, surgeries & challenges I faced for many years and still walk through day by day...( on some level) When I came across chalk couture I immediately knew without a shadow of a doubt that this was the perfect fit for my life & my heart literally skipped a beat and it stirred up my creative crafting side yet again so I talked to my darling hubby & decided to buy a monthly club subscription, (I call it my HAPPY mail each month, my love gift to myself) which also lead me into becoming a designer with chalk couture it was a birthday gift a celebration of love and life to myself ( let's just say it is one of the best gifts I bought myself ) This is how I started my journey back into crafting & creating & I expanded from there. I LOVE to craft & create, now I would like to invite you all on this journey alongside me, I welcome you all along for this epic journey as I share my life & journey as I add more fun to my life & LIVE (you all because LIFE is just way to short we need to ENJOY the journey while we are here, just sayin) I so look forward to connecting & creating with all of you, I am SUPER excited to meet you all & see what we can all come up with as we connect chit chat, craft & create, I also want to use this page as a place of encouragement and heart to heart chats so come join us all here as we do life together after all life is ment to be shared & let us all LIFT each other up I look forward to sharing it all right here including our lakeside adventures and our travels feel free to come join us...
