We are honored to announce that we will be featuring Gareth Jones in a future issue of Modern Impressionist Magazine There’s so much to love about this painting with the loose brushstrokes and implied detail. The cool, pure blues in the shadows also create a strong contrast to the warm sunlit buildings on the opposite side. Incredible work!

The paintings were so inspiring to see and we are honored to be a part of this competition. The contest is growing. The depth of entries and the quality of the work has reached such a high level. Thank you to all of the artists. Your creativity and passion is inspiring.

Next month’s first place will be $1,000 and the Annual Grand Prize $10,000. Also the top 40 will be recognized in addition to the top 20 and winners.
