Introducing Opuntia’s newest publication, The Acts of the Reappearing Pheasant, edited by Sandro-Angelo de Thomasis and Iuri Moscardi!

On February 17, 1454, Duke Philippe le Bon vowed—over a pheasant draped in splendor—to launch a crusade against the Ottomans. The crusade never came, but the feast lives on: a symbol of promises, poetry, and the pursuit of the unreachable.

This new volume gathers the poetic traces of that elusive bird—its flash of brilliance, its vanishing trail. The Feast of the Pheasant is not a conclusion, but a vow renewed: an invitation to readers to follow poetry into the brush, where it glimmers and disappears. Available now at agincourtbooks.com!
