The Wives welcome upbeat entrepreneur Syma Espiritu to the show for a great chat about her experiences in the wine industry, marketing, tour life and her latest venture with the Women Who Rock organization in Pittsburgh, focusing on desperately needed research in women’s health. Also, why it’s important to bring good vibes, good vino and say goodbye to toxic relationships.

We are planning a group trip to Iceland this February, and we know that many of you have questions about the group travel experience. We get it! It’s a risk to join a bunch of so-called strangers halfway across the world, but in this case the risk is worth the reward! Take it from our Portugal crew, many of whom are hopping on for our next adventure. Take a peek at our trip page (link in profile) for more information or feel free to DM us with any questions about the retreat that need answering.

Honestly, promoting anything on IG feels a little bit strange, but our last trip was so damn magical that we want to be sure to get the word out to anyone who hears the call for adventure. There are only THREE spots left until the trip is full, after that we’ll enter group chat status and leave the rest of you alone!

We kept calm and carried in on the raging British heat last week at 2000 Trees festival in the Cotswolds. What the UK lacks in air conditioning, they make up for in charm. (We know, we know, it’s so passè for Americans to complain about such things!) The lovely festival grounds, Regency architecture and good company more than made up for the sweltering English heat wave.

We’re taking a group trip to Iceland next February! We’d love for you to join us. There are only a couple spots left before the trip is full.

Beyond black sand beaches, geothermal baths, towering waterfalls and northern lights viewing we have planned, we’re very curious about the food. The world’s best fish and chips (so we’ve been told), the famous Iceland hot dogs, all variations of sheep including smoked lamb, fresh seafood, luscious pastries, warm rye bread and the much-loved skyr, there are also options for the more daring (more daring than us, at least). Fermented shark, hardfiskur, whale, puffin and svið (sheep’s head) are other local delicacies. Whatever your level of adventure (or comfort) when it comes to eating like the locals do, we’d love for you to join us on a wintry (culinary) adventure in Iceland. Summer is here! Big things are happening, especially the Coheed & TBS tour we have been dreaming of for years (some might say we manifested this). We’re concocting some of our own plans around the tour dates, so hopefully we’ll see you on the road. There are only FOUR SPOTS left for our group trip to Iceland next February!

Not only do we plan on visiting breathtaking sights and scenery (including northern lights viewing every night), but we’ll also take time to process and absorb our experiences through journaling, poetry and other creative outlets hosted by & . We also plan on getting closer to the culture through book club discussions featuring our (optional!) Icelandic reading list. There will be plenty of time to dig deep and discuss during our many excursions in clean, private transport as we span the entire south region of the island during an unforgettable week in Iceland.
