Shawano County Sheriff’s Office will observe a moment of silence on Friday, September 11, 2026, in honor and remembrance of the lives lost in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
The Shawano Communications Center will page all County Responders to pause at 7:46am Central Time – the time the first aircraft struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center – to reflect on the victims, their families, first responders, members of the military, and all those whose lives were affected by the events of 9/11.
This observance serves as an opportunity for Shawano County to remember the courage, service, and resilience demonstrated in the aftermath of the attacks and in the years since.
