After a long and electrifying road chock full of twists, turns, drama and intrigue, we've finally come to the end of the road. We've seen a lot over these last weeks: manufacturers fighting themselves, snub craft taking down much larger competition, classic grudge matches, and shots at sweet redemption. We've laughed, we've cried, we've taken to the skies, and now that the smoke has cleared, it seems as if a prodigal child has returned to the mountain top. That's right, the mighty Anvil Carrack, comes back in a major way to steal another victory from the clutches of the beleaguered Mercury. Sorry smugglers and Crusader heads, turns out Carrack maybe actually is life after all. At least until next year's Showdown.

We thank you for participating in another amazing Showdown. We'll see you back here next year for more thrills, chills, spills, and non-stop aerospace action.

For the most curious who have never heard of the Zeus, this ship was a short range scout and the commercially available one equipped with the Quantum engine at the time, Built by RSI - Roberts Space Industries in 2140, it is one of the most ancient of the Universe. With RSI's patented Q-Core VIII engine, BTST-rated heat shields, and a comfortable cockpit for three, this stunner is only mentioned SO FAR in the lore, but maybe one day we'll get to see it in-game, only time will tell.
