CLEVELAND— A Euclid police chase shortly after midnight involving a stolen vehicle ended in a crash when the suspects crashed into another car leaving one innocent driver dead and another person with injuries. The crash ended on St. Clair Ave. and Nottingham Rd. One suspect has been detained.

MISSING‼️‼️ The Cleveland Division of Police is asking for the public’s help locating three missing juveniles last seen around 12:00 a.m. on September 29, 2025. The three juveniles are missing from their home in 4000 block of Central Avenue.

The missing are:
Aqum Machok, female, 14
Jok Machok, male, 13
Alek Machok, female, 10

They attend school on Cleveland’s West Side and may have been seen in the Puritas/Rocky River area. Clothing and exact location are unknown. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cleveland Division of Police-Third District at (216) 623-5300 or the non-emergency number (216) 621-1234.

CLEVELAND- Tasha Grant death has been ruled a homicide. Video evidence showed Grant’s chest and abdomen pressed against the bed while force was applied to her backside. The medical examiner also identified internal bleeding in her neck muscles caused by pressure during the restraint.

LAKEWOOD— A woman found dead at a Lakewood Hotel death was ruled a homicide due to cervical compression at the Days Inn on September 18th,2025. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the woman as 54-year-old Dawn Gibson.

CLEVELAND— 45-year-old Richard Koballa was one of the suspects arrested for the double homicide on East 59th and Mound on September 20th.

Joseph Anthony Szymkowski, 42, was found fatally shot outside his home around 2 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hours later shortly before 10 a.m. Alissha Brown, 36, was found shot to death at the same address.

According to >Koballa was arrested following a standoff with police in Shaker Heights on Tuesday. The incident happened about 12:30 p.m. at the Kemper Court apartments on Kemper Road, according to Shaker Heights Police Chief Wayne Hudson.

Koballa told a tenant inside the apartment complex that he had recently killed someone in Cleveland, Hudson said. The tenant then called 911.

Police fired a Taser and bean bags to subdue Koballa after the brief standoff. He was transported by ambulance to a hospital in stable condition.

Hudson said officers exercised restraint during the encounter because they believed Koballa might be armed.]
