The Ateneo de Manila University team of David Africa (4 BS Applied Mathematics) and Tobi Leung (2 BS Applied Mathematics) bested teams from Princeton, Sofia, and Tel Aviv University in the Grand Finals.

"This is David’s third appearance at the WUDC Grand Finals, and a first time for Toby, a sophomore. It is truly an impressive feat made by the two debaters!" said the Ateneo Debate Society.

I enjoyed the fun-filled interview with one co-HSP based in North America.

I hope to inspire more other young men to really spread awareness of their own uniqueness and the personality type they are into.

Having the tribe and support group is a great start to know one self better.

G. Find meaning or sense of purpose with your work?

Kevin, this is really a big deal to me. And I’m grateful that I started my journey of self-awareness and knowing more about my personality.

Let me tell you frankly, if I will follow my Ego, my current job is way to that sense of purpose.

But if I will follow my Intuition and hear my soul, I am still searching for that sense of purpose. I’m an empath and I love to listen with people. I think I am just looking for a kind of job that I am free to express it and what I love.

5. How you Handle being Sensitive Personally?

I used to overthink before. Self-awareness and mindfulness, self-talk and positive affirmations. These are what I am working out in myself lately.

How about relationships? Thus people around your appreciate your sensitive trait?

I don’t think they really know me as a Sensitive Person. What they know is the happy and strong person I am projecting on the outside.

I am trying to share to my family and close friends particularly, some information’s I learned about HSP personality and even personally asking How I am as friend, son and as a person.

I want to understand myself better Kevin…

6. Strength and Weakness of Sensitive traits?

Strength?

I can relate more to Senior Citizens and to Mothers. I don’t know it’s like I have plenty mothers outside home…I am enjoying the love and care they have for me.

Weakness?

You can easily doubt yourself and being prone to depression. Overthinking and no filter as to the emotions I am absorbing from others.
