hair mask season is heeeere 🩷🫧

the air is getting COLDER outside and DRYER inside because of the heating - that means my curly hair ends are getting dryer and need MOISTTTTURE so there's less breakage 🩷🩷

I always try and increase my hydrating mask application whenever there's a weather change otherwise my curls tend to play up 🥹

helps create LATHERRRR 🫧🫧🧼

If you struggle to get a good foam when shampooing this can really help!! As can double shampooing 🩷🫧

Also emulsifying it with a tiny bit of water in your hands can really help to apply your shampoo more evenly so you don't miss any sections!!

conditioner BEFORE shampoo 🫧

WHY SHAMPOOING SECOND CAN WORK FOR ME 👇🏽
✨removes product buildup
✨prevents weigh down
✨can increase curl definition
✨ allows me to detangle first for a nice even cleanse
🩷 Prevents my curls being stripped- especially if they are in a more fragile state (cold weather, heat damaged, colour treated)

Such a nice way to wash EPECIALLY if you're a volume girly or if you have super fine hair! Really reduces the risk of weigh down 🩷

losing more hair in the autumn 🍁🥹

Always hits in November but we're a little early this year!! I was shocked and a tiny bit unsettled when I saw the hair loss this wash day

I start to lose more hair around Oct- Dec time and I think its do do with a few things:

🍂 temperature changes
🍂 central heating drying my scalp (healthy scalp = better hair health)
🍂 health changes/general stress/ SAD - any type of stress can aggravate hair loss

Alsooo please note that hair fall is normal (up to 100 per dayyy) and we're all different!! Your hair loss is likely different to mine- and your hair length/ thickness might be too!! Dint compare too closely please 🩷🩷🩷

there is hair all over me here 😅 something to keep an eye on but yes hair fall is normal (reaffirming to myself haha)

it's THE WORST ITS EVER BEEN 🥹

I will be making a FULL video showing you exactly how much hair I'm losing atm and tracking it because wow I've been in shock in the shower this week 😭

I know it's my shedding season so that's (a little) comforting but I'm gonna start a routine with a FOCUS on hair fall because this wash was a little scarry

For me personally this is a lot - we are all DIFFERENT though🩷 it's normal to lose 50-100 hairs a day

locks in smmm moisture from the conditioner + water combined it's a dream 🥰🧜🏽‍♀️ makes my curls feel so juicy and soft and hydrated and makes my washday last longer because it's so moisturised -

Now my curls are freshly bleached I like to take extra special care of them on washday ❤️‍🩹 this routine contains some of my all time favourite curl products btw

Condition (first - before shampoo)

🍂 I use this first because my hair was SO tangled and I wasn’t going to be able to get a proper cleanse if I didn’t detangle first

🧬 k18 molecular repair mask - the best thing everrrrr for intense repair on bleached hair

Do we like the updo!! I was so unsure before but once I was done I think I was obsessssedd

i got into the chair and thought I would wear my hair down but I saw some gorgeous iPods form the other girlies and was completely inspired- also my stylist convinced me that this updo would go better with the neckline of my dress and I fear she was RIGHTTT 😅

the cosiest few days with to celebrate the launch of their new limited edition velvet amber dry shampoo- their PHD shampoo is genuinely one of the BEST on the market - it feels like it's actually cleaning your hair I don't know what the science is but it's GOOOOOD 🍁🍁

Also the cosy morning YOGAAAA - nothing more up my street 🥹🩷

Had the best time 🩷🩷 thankyou for the cosiest time!!!
