There is no better way to honor the legendary Polish composer and violinist Henry Wieniawski (1835-1880) than to encourage a new generation of young and talented musicians from around the world to discover and champion his music. Please watch the 2020 KF Wieniawski Violin Competition winners speaking about their experiences of participating in the live-streamed event and learning works by Polish composers. I Prize of $5,000 and a Special Award - Performance with the Jackson Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Music Director, Maestro Matthew Aubin go to - Clara Saitkoulov

II Prize of $3,000 goes to Hana Mundiya
​
III Prize of $1,000 goes to Kristine Clair Galano
​
Special Prize of $500 for the Best Interpretation of a Work by Krzysztof Penderecki offered by Hanna Lachert goes to Whitney Takata
​
Both Clara Saitkoulov and Hana Mundiya are also offered engagement opportunities with BARGEMUSIC offered by its President and Competition Jury Mark Pescanov.

Meet Whitney Takata, KF Wieniawski Violin Competition Contestant. Hailed from Tokyo, Japan, Whitney currently studies at the Juilliard School. She is the main prize winner in several classical music competitions in Japan, and one of her most recent accolades is winning the gold medal in wind, strings, and percussion solo contest in Japan in 2019.

Meet: Konstancja Samochin, KF Wieniawski Violin Competition Contestant. Hailed from Lodz, Poland, Konstancja graduated from High school of music last summer. She has performed in many countries across Europe including Poland, Italy, Austra, Latavia, Slovenia, and Hungary as a concertmaster, soloist, and chamber musician.
