Alex’s Drone Photography I am a 26yr old that resides out of Sulphur Springs. I have an intrest in Drone pictures & videos.

I would like to share my work with everyone in the Northeast Texas reigon.

A Brave effort to get a shot of the storm this evening from inside…moments later, the drone dropped out of the sky and into a tree line where I had to do Search & Rescue.

Onve the rain stopped, The drone was recovered & is currently drying. It still works.

🚨HURRICANE BERYL UPDATE🚨

Currently is a Tropical Storm in the Gulf of Mexico. Beryl is predicted to make landfall as a Category 1 hurricane Monday morning then make the right turn and come through East & Northeast Texas as a Tropical Depression. Winds up to 30mph with gusts up to 40mph could be possible. Lots of Tropical Rains incoming.

Counties in East Texas have been put under a disaster declaration. The East Texas counties added include Anderson, Angelina, Camp, Cass, Cherokee, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Hopkins, Houston, Hunt, Jasper, Kaufman, Marion, Morris, Nacogdoches, Newton, Panola, Polk, Rains, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Smith, Titus, Trinity, Tyler, Upshur, Van Zandt and Wood. Additional counties may be added as conditions warrant.

900 AM CDT Tue May 28 2024

The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... East central Smith County in northeastern Texas... Northwestern Rusk County in northeastern Texas... Southwestern Gregg County in northeastern Texas...

* Until 930 AM CDT.

* At 859 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Overton, or 8 miles west of Kilgore, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near... Kilgore, Overton, and New London around 905 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Monroe, Rolling Meadows, Laird Hill, and Lakeport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.

* Tornado Warning for... Southeastern Smith County in northeastern Texas... Northwestern Rusk County in northeastern Texas...

* Until 915 AM CDT.

* At 841 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Whitehouse, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near... Arp around 845 AM CDT. Overton around 850 AM CDT. New London, Joinerville, and Turnertown around 855 AM CDT. Henderson around 905 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include New Chapel Hill.
