Fight the Right Foe

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.
2 Corinthians 10:3
Do you know why so many believers are losing the battles in their lives?
They’re fighting the wrong enemy!
They’ve been deceived into believing that just because a person said or did something to hurt them, that person is the one they need to fight. But they’re wrong.
You see, the Bible says we don’t wrestle with flesh and blood. And since people are definitely flesh and blood, they’re never the source of our problem.
“But, Brother Copeland, you just don’t know what So-and-so did to me!”
It doesn’t matter. If you waste your time fighting So-and-so, your real enemy will get away scot-free.
Who is that real enemy? Look at Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Satan and his demons. They are your lifelong enemies! They are behind every personal affront you encounter.
The people who hurt you and persecute you are only Satan’s tools. When he wants to strike out at you, he uses them to get the job done.
Remember this: Persecution is not the manifestation of another person’s hate for you. It’s a manifestation of Satan’s fear of you. When you get into the Word and start swinging it around–using it like the sword of the Spirit it is–he gets scared. So he looks for some person he can send in there to stop you.
Next time someone hurts you, don’t let yourself get sidetracked into fighting them. Bind the spirit behind them. Put flesh and blood battles behind and war with the weapons of the Spirit. Zero in on Satan with authority and the Word of God and bring your real enemy down!

Founder of South Africa’s Satanic Church Got Born Again After Encounter with Jesus

Riaan Swiegelaar, co-founder of the South African Satanic Church, got born again after a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ. Once a key figure in what was known as the largest satanic movement in Africa, Riaan shared that his decision to follow Christ came after experiencing genuine love for the first time.

According to his testimony, it all began when a Christian woman showed him unconditional kindness after one of his interviews. That simple act of love moved him deeply and started a transformation he could not ignore.

Riaan said he later had a personal encounter with Jesus that made him realize how real God’s love is. He admitted that everything he once stood for in the Satanic Church came from pain and misunderstanding, but his experience with Jesus set him free.

Today, Riaan uses his story to encourage others who feel too far gone, reminding them that God’s grace reaches even the darkest places.

This is our month to stand strong in faith, speak boldly what God has promised, and live victoriously in covenant prosperity.
We refuse to doubt.
We choose to believe.
We declare that whatsoever we ask in faith, believing, we shall receive!

“I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall crush your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” — Genesis 3:15
1. Who Is Speaking and to Whom
• God is speaking to the serpent (Satan), after Adam and Eve sinned.
• This marks the beginning of the conflict between good and evil in human history.
2. “I Will Put Enmity…” — The Division
• Enmity means deep hostility or conflict.
• God declares there will always be a struggle between:
• The serpent (Satan) and the woman (humanity).
• The offspring (seed) of each — symbolizing two spiritual lines:
• The serpent’s seed = followers of evil.
• The woman’s seed = those who follow God.
3. “He Shall Crush Your Head” — The Final Victory
• The word “he” points to a specific descendant from the woman — interpreted as Jesus Christ.
• Crushing the head represents a decisive and fatal victory over Satan.
• Through His death and resurrection, Jesus defeats sin, death, and evil permanently.
4. “You Shall Bruise His Heel” — The Temporary Wound
• The serpent injures the heel — symbolizing temporary suffering.
• This represents Christ’s crucifixion: a painful but not permanent defeat.
• Evil causes harm, but it cannot overcome God’s ultimate plan.
5. Overall Meaning
• This verse is known as the Protoevangelium, meaning “the first gospel.”
• It’s the first prophecy of the coming Savior and the promise of victory over sin and Satan.
• It introduces the hope of redemption immediately after humanity’s fall.
6. Supporting Verses
• Romans 16:20 – “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.”
• Hebrews 2:14 – Jesus destroyed “the one who holds the power of death.”
• Revelation 12 – The serpent (dragon) continues to war against the woman’s offspring.
Genesis 3:15 reveals God’s plan of redemption and victory:
• Evil will strike but not prevail.
• Humanity’s Savior — the seed of the woman — will crush the serpent’s head, ending Satan’s power once and for all.
