I’ve learned that not everyone is meant to understand my journey. Some people will resist my change, some will prefer I stay the same. But choosing myself will always matter more than keeping them comfortable.

Because I wasn’t born to fit inside their idea of who I should be. I wasn’t meant to stay quiet just to keep the peace or to shrink myself just so others can feel comfortable. Growth will always disappoint those who benefit from your silence but that’s a price worth paying. May I have the strength to outgrow the places that no longer feel like home. To step away from people who only love me when I’m easy to control. To choose my own voice, even when it shakes. I don’t owe anyone the version of me that doesn’t dream, that doesn’t rise, that doesn’t dare to be more.

It’s not selfish to choose yourself. It’s not wrong to walk a path others don’t understand. The right people will never feel threatened by your light and they will celebrate it. And those who don’t? They were never meant to hold you forever. So may I keep becoming, even if it means losing the ones who can’t see my worth anymore. May I find the courage to disappoint the wrong people, so I can finally make myself proud. And may I keep growing, even if it means standing alone for a while.

I'm glad that I choose my own peace over someone else's approval. Because anyone who truly loves me will never ask me to stay small. ✨

From the fear of trying something new to the bittersweet realization that it didn’t turn out as planned, last year reminded us to be proud that we still had the courage to try.

2024 taught us so much. We stepped into the unknown, faced our fears, embraced new hobbies, discovered truths about ourselves, said goodbye to people we once thought we couldn’t live without, and welcomed new connections into our lives.

As we move forward, it’s okay to carry a little grief for the dreams that didn’t come true, but don’t forget to give yourself grace and strength to keep trying. You tried. That effort, no matter how small it seemed, was enough. Whether it was reaching out, offering kindness, helping someone in need, or simply getting through the day, you did enough.

Take a moment now to acknowledge your efforts—every brave step, every little act of perseverance. You did well last year.

This 2025, may you grow beautifully, with hope in your heart and strength in your spirit. 🌷

One thing I've figured out? There's no cheat code for success. You can't just "fake it 'til you make it"— because anything fake is bound to flop! Success isn't Amazon Prime; you can't get it overnight. It takes time, sweat, and a lot of showing up. So, if you're serious about being awesome, dive in, learn the ropes, and practice. Respect and recognition? They're like dessert — they'll arrive when the main course is done. For now, bloom where you're planted, and treat every day like growth opportunity 🤍.

Over the past few years, I've been struggling to impose my desires on people who simply don't share same dreams or goals. I've come to the crushing realization that trying to force others to want what I want is not only exhausting but also deeply disheartening. It feels like I'm endlessly chasing a mirage, only to find that no matter how hard I push, I'm left feeling empty and alone. The weight of this constant struggle has worn me down, leaving me with a profound sense of hopelessness and sadness as I grapple with the futility of trying to make others see things my way. The pain of seeing my hopes and dreams clash with reality is overwhelming, and the relentless struggle has left me feeling hopeless and lost, struggling to find meaning in this unending cycle of disappointment 🥀

There will come a time in your life that you can no longer run and hide from things that scare you. From there, you will have to choose between trying and giving up, but love, if you get there always choose trying. Always see the opportunity in every fear. You will grow from that experience, you will see what you are capable of, and you will later thank yourself that whether you lose or win, you have known and met a version of you who is braver than the person you were.😌

I no longer concern myself with fitting in. Nor do I strive to please everyone with a universally liked coffee. I no longer justify my side to those who've already scripted their narratives. Instead, I embrace what unfolds naturally.
All I seek now is calm, gentleness, and softness.
