New Midjourney style unlocked!

Recently I've been doing a lot of style explorations with Midjourney.

I think personal style is something every artists aspires for. Having their work recognized purely by how it looks like.
I am no different. I like my creations to be personalized to my own style.

With Midjourney the style choices are plenty. So I've started creating prompt templates for styles I like.

I really enjoy hand drawn style with brush strokes, so I made a reusable prompt template for it.

Evolution of a style - Arcane + into the spider verse.

Style is at the heart of every artists expression.

I've shared a few styles I like and how I managed to get them so far. I want to continue this exploration to get a personalized style that expresses my ideas the way I want them.

This week we're gonna develop a style with weighted prompting. Big thanks to Spruder for sharing this technique.

Here is how it works:
Instead of using "," we use "::" and add a number after it.
This give each section of the prompt "weight." Telling Midjourney how much influence to pull from each part of the prompt. The higher the number, the higher the influence.

Do your creations have purpose?

Tell a story, paint a picture, send a message...

Creation with an intentional message is extremely powerful. It can connect worlds and bridge differences.

Does that mean every creation you make needs this kind of purpose? Or can you sometimes create just because you want to?

I believe beauty itself has a meaning and significance. It creates appreciation for otherwise ordinary things. It inspires to see more than just what your eyes can see. Beauty can ground you in the moment and make you forget about the stories. It makes you feel.

Creation is subjective.
To me that means it can inspire even if I don't see purpose in it.

Create beautiful things, even if you don't see a purpose in them. ☀
