In our "Sustainability in Action" series, we're taking a look at how Eden Prairie residents are helping to reduce waste.
Over 200 locals are using Ridwell, a service that collects hard-to-recycle items, such as plastic film and batteries, right from their doorstep. This effort helps to keep thousands of pounds of waste out of our landfills.
The service also partners with local nonprofits, donating a monthly "feature category" of items to support families in need. It’s a great example of how small changes can lead to a big impact in our community!
