At the dam near the Dragon this week, the parking lot looked more like Monterey than the Smokies.

At the heart of it all: a dark-green McLaren F1, likely chassis #022 from the Revs Institute collection. Surrounding it was a fleet of McLarens — part of the McLaren F1 Owners Club event. Together, they turned the lot into a $20 million gathering of legends.

A huge thanks to the Lanzante support for taking time to share the stories behind these cars while still managing the daily prep to keep them Dragon-ready. His craftsmanship and knowledge — having built some of these cars himself — sets him apart.

Gratitude as well to Ed Bolian and Jordan Cole for the encouragement and motivating words while capturing this moment.

This is only the start. There’s much more to come from this Tail of the Dragon experience — follow along with Ignition Therapy on YouTube and Instagram (same name) for the full coverage.

Currently near Tail of the Dragon. The rain’s tapping on the roof of this little cabin tonight in Robbinsville NC — it’s barely bigger than the bed inside it. I should be asleep, but my head’s full of footage I still want to edit and ideas I don’t want to lose.

I think about the choices I’ve made, stepping away from the safe route to chase this thing. It’s not about hype or big words — it just feels like the one thing I can’t stop doing. The more I put into it, the more I want to push myself further.

I don’t know where it leads, but I do know I’m glad you’re all here with me along the way. More to come soon.

(pic is still of the YouTube video. I am working on)

At the Tail of the Dragon 🐉—318 curves in 11 miles, a riders paradise, even for me captain slow.

I’ve been posting stories on Instagram the last couple of days, and I’ll have a full wrap-up on YouTube soon.

Ignition Therapy is on most social platforms—no need to wonder where to look. Here are a few quick shots from the trip so far 👇

Rolled into the car show and ran into one of the most iconic machines on the road — the . 🌭

Under the fiberglass frank sits a real truck chassis with a pumping out about 300 . It stretches 27 feet long, stands 11 feet tall, weighs in at over 14,000 pounds, and even packs some hilarious creature comforts inside: ketchup & mustard seats, a hotdog-shaped dashboard, a removable “bun roof,” a gull-wing door with a retractable step, and yes… a 52” flat-screen.

Quick Specs:
• 27 ft long / 11 ft tall / 8 ft wide
• ~14,050 lb curb weight
• Chevy 6.0L Vortec V8 (~300 horsepower)
• Custom fiberglass body & GM truck chassis
• Interior: condiment seats, bun roof, hotdog dash, gull-wing door, 52” flat-screen

Now for the fun part — what do YOU think the 0–60 time is on this giant hotdog?

And if that V8 was sitting in your garage, what’s the first mod you’d throw at it? Headers, cam swap, maybe a “turbo dog”? Let’s hear it. 🔧🌭

Interview: The Rodent Fiat 🐭💥
Meet Josh () — the guy who can take a forgotten X1/9 rotting away in a yard and turn it into a fire-breathing rocket with nothing but creativity and a spare lying around.

With 303 at the wheels and tipping the scales at under 1,900 pounds (with Josh in it), this thing — known as The Rodent — is basically a rocket-powered shoebox. What started as a pile of rusty panels is now a brutally unhinged little monster that proves one thing:
👉 With the right hands on the wrench, even leftovers can become legendary.
