Today you turn 4 Harper. You’ve conquered the mountains, the ocean, the woods looking for deer, and even a surgery. You continue to amaze mommy and daddy how you’re such a strong willed, kind, caring kid, and a wonderful big sissy to brother bear. Don’t grow up too fast! Happy birthday little bear! Photo opportunity taken as I walked back to the truck, cold, wet, and shivering for the last time this 2024 season. Had one of those reminiscing hike outs thinking, I may have not filled a tag this season, but the amount of knowledge I learned this year just makes that anticipation for next season even stronger. Hunted more public, found/hunted more sign than I ever have previous years, bumped more deer than ever 😂, missed a shot on a doe due to a branch, but also saw more deer in the woods than ever. Hunting season never stops.

Finding her first buck rub on her first bow hunt with daddy and brother bear! Start them young! Also insisted she have cat whiskers for face paint.

micro baby shads on a 1/16oz jig were finding some chunky bluegills this morning and also a 2 pound bass thought it was going to break my ultralight rod! Also, keep the banks clean people cmon now.

Hiked the Moose Lake State Park hikers club today. Found bear tracks on the hike! Our little bear cub played in the mud for a long time and brother bear was babbling away in the pack!
