Important change to Privacy Settings on mwlist.org, effective January 1st, 2024

Dear users of mwlist.org,

We are making a change to the Privacy Settings regarding the Visual Logbook. Currently, you can choose if you want to display your name in the publicly available Visual Logbook:

To clarify, the current functionality is such that all logs from all users are published, and the above setting only determines the additional display of the name.
Based on multiple requests from the hobby community for greater transparency, we will require that your name be displayed when logs are published from 1 January 2024.
The current wording and functionality will change from:
Logbook visible publicly (to everyone) ***
Yes (please check to display your name on MWLIST Visual Logbook, otherwise only location is shown)
No
To:
Logbook visible publicly (to everyone) ***
Yes (if selected, your logs will be published, including your name, on MWLIST Visual Logbook)
No (if selected, your logs will NOT be published on MWLIST Visual Logbook)
After the change, each user can decide whether or not to make their logs public. If they are public, the user's name will always be displayed.
A word on names
There is no requirement to use a real name on our websites, nor is there any requirement to identify yourself. However, we do expect users who use our sites for a common hobby to register using their real name. In the event of suspicion, we will exercise our right of domicile and request that a real name be provided. For the protection of other users of our sites, we reserve the right to suspend accounts with obviously false information.

Really?

AM Radio sounds like phone quality, AM HD sounds like FM radio. You could hear your local AM station in much better quality.
