[🇻🇳HANOI] - 📍Shark Jaw Building Hàm Cá Mập

Last March 2025 was a sad and shocking news for everyone as the government’s plan approved for demolishing the iconic Shark Jaw Building or known as Hàm Cá Mập in Hanoi to transform the area into an expanded public square.

Iconic Shark Building was constructed between 1991 to 1993 and became a famous photograph landmark by its architectural beauty.

Late April, businesses vacate the site prior to demolition. They will begin the dismantling process by late May 2025.

Target by August 2025 for the new public square phase 1 to be completed.

Lucky to have witnessed this last November 2024. To a new beginning and hoping whatever they are building will be as majestic as Shark Jaw Building.

One of the best burgers and pretty affordable specially in terms of their output quality!

Prolly my go-to and first in mind to recommend for burgers when in Singapore!

[🇵🇭BAGUIO EATS] - 📍Hatch Coffee

I am new to the whole “cafe hop” in Baguio even though this is practically my second hometown. So much has changed!

One thing’s for sure, is one of the must visit cafes in the city. Giving you an al fresco dining experience while taking advantage of the calming breeze weather of Baguio!

[🇵🇭 BAGUIO EATS] - 📍Choco-late De Batirol

is one of the OG and must visit cafes when visiting in Baguio! Their hot chocolate is what made them famous and what you have to order. Perfect for brekkie or afternoon “tea time”.

Baguio is just a 3-4 hour bus ride from Manila. Baguio City is a magnet for travelers due to its cooling climate, literally a safe zigzag road to the mountains.

[🇹🇼 COCKTAIL BAR] - 📍Testing Room

is prolly one of the cocktail bars I would recommend to go specially for tourists. They specialized crafting fruit and tea based cocktails!

It was a challenge finding this bar, no big signs or anything outside. Little did we know it is hidden on 2nd level of ! Apparently they are under the same company/owner.

[🇹🇼 COCKTAIL BAR] - 📍 液藝Y i Y i
taipei has an interesting concept. Their cocktails are mixed purely with coffee. This is a perfect place to hang with friends while sipping some alcohol in broad daylight. I definitely recommend their Irish Coffee and Coffee-tini!

[🇹🇼 COCKTAIL BAR] - 📍HiBoRu

Personally, .taipei was one of the best and most memorable cocktail bar experience I had in Taipei!

Showcasing their interior with retro Japanese aesthetics. I was today years old that you can make highballs as creative and innovative as cocktails! So make sure to order their highballs here!

Usually, I’m a bit skeptical with bar bites but out of curiosity we tried their Braised Meat Ball with Brown Sauce and it was fantastic! I heard they recently hired a new chef and can’t wait to try his other creations!

The main highlight was actually the connection between their bartenders to their customers. We really enjoyed the genuine interactive bond!

I’ll bring my mom with me on my next visit! See you again soon! !

And of course, wouldn’t be that fun without my on-the-go cocktail buddy, !

[🇹🇼 EATS] -📍太陽蕃茄拉麺 (Taiyo Tomato Ramen)

Accidentally saw this and immediately have to try! I love anything tomato based!

‘s latest outlet at the newest mall in Taipei, !

What we had:

太陽超司三重奏拉麵 (Triple Cheese Ramen)
- 450 NT | 20 SGD with 1 side and drinks
- broth was pure tomato and nothing diluted taste or texture. I would crave and order this again!

歐姆招牌蕃茄叻即里飯 (Signature Omelet Curry)
- 430 NT | 19 SGD with 1 side and drinks
- curry + tomato? LOVE IT! But they fell short on the seasoning and thickness on their pork cutlets. Though tomato curry sauce was 🔥
