Christophe Jean Charles, perhaps Nosara’s fastest paddler, has been roaming waters of Playa Guiones seeking the biggest & best set waves for over 2 decades. Almost everyone knows Christophe & he shares all kinds of opinions & facts about his life in his Nosara Podcast episode. He built his life around surfing and at almost 60 years he’s still out there ripping… Except he’s starting to get nicer (not a typo, Christophe actually apologizes to some people at end :)
He shares his ideas for handling the crowds at Playa Guiones, his concern for local Tico populace (surprising angles & points), his suggestion to not talk about good surf, how there is always a balance & Nosara is no exception. Bunch of wide ranging topics in this one. Hope you enjoy!
