It was also my first bikini, and Mom, Ninang, and Tita Bow all decided to wear bikinis with me for support 🥰

I believe one of the biggest reasons why I’m so inclined to working out and eating well is because of my family! I’ve always been surrounded by people with a healthy body image, a good relationship with food and exercise, and look to physical activity for fun and recreation instead of seeing it as punishment.

My family always took care of my self esteem, they never made comments about my body or my skin, and in fact encouraged the beauty of being myself.

Kids are SPONGES. Be careful with what you say around them. Make sure that you aren’t projecting your own insecurities and issues onto them. And if you want your kid to eat well and be strong and healthy and fit, perhaps you need to set the example for them and you can do it together ❤️
