We made it to the 53rd Annual Alabama State Championship Race at East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama! 🏁

A total of 55 602 Late Models registered. Earlier today they hot lap qualified to set the lineups for the heat races, and there were 6 heats in total.

Dustin started 3rd in the first heat race and came out with the WIN! 👏🏼🏁 That means he’ll be starting FIRST for the 602 Late Model Feature tomorrow!!

We are beyond excited and so proud! Dustin has worked tirelessly to get here. Consistently learning, pushing harder, and improving. We are so happy to see all that hard work paying off and to watch him start first in such a prestigious race.

The Jackie Hughes Memorial race is one that will forever mean so much to me. This is one weekend that everyone comes together to celebrate the life & legacy of my dad. Those that knew him as well as those who didn’t. I couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who comes out to show support & love to myself & my family.

I ran Enduro, 602 & Street Stock. We didn’t have the outcome that we had hoped for but we did manage to bring home a top 3 finish in all 3 classes that we ran. Enduro 3rd, 602 2nd, & Street Stock 2nd.

A big thanks to Kevin & everyone involved that makes this race possible every year. I can’t express how much it means to myself & my team. Dothan Motor Speedway
