175 years ago yesterday, a true literary genius passed away under just as mysterious circumstances as some of his characters. His contribution to the written word continues to be felt all these generations later.

I would never dare to compare myself to the great Edgar Allan Poe but I hope he visits his distant cousin every now and then and feels a certain kinship with me. I do feel we are kindred spirits, he and I. 🖤🖤🖤

I get commissioned to write personalized short stories for people. I have four different packages that vary in price, with the largest including a hand bound and signed copy of their story. I had a customer order the hand bound copy package and this is how it came out! I wrote the story and my podcast co-host, Kat, hand bound it beautifully! ❤️ We make them to order so this client’s hand bound copy is the only one in existence and will remain such unless she orders more copies.
