This trailer was unique in the sense that Mr. Thompson, being a great video editor himself sent me instructions for all the cuts/edits and the music. His ideas were impressive and I feel proud to have worked with him and learnt a lot from him. The trailer you see here is mostly his own work and very few additions and clean-ups are made by me.

This is not a "Book" trailer, but a promotional video I made
for a kickstarter campaign for the board game "Rune & Steel"
in November of 2020.

The developers of the game contacted me through Fiverr and
provided the in-game images and maps, voiceover and some brief
information about the game. Understanding the ancient Nordic
culture and its symbolism was a steep learning curve and took
some time for me to grasp and present a selection of footage
and storyboard for approval.

Licensed royalty-free stock footage, music and motion graphics
were used and sourced legally from a premium stock library
subscription, the only exception being a footage of Norsemen
walking in snow which they purchased from Shutterstock. After a few revisions, the final trailer was
delivered within 12 days.

I made this book trailer in January 2021 for an anthology by Publishing . I would extend my deepest gratitude to them for appreciating my work and making me a part of this project.

They contacted me through Fiverr and provided the book's covers, links to the sales page, pre-recorded voiceover in the voice of one of the authors, and recommendations regarding the background music and footage. I made this book trailer for Ms. Author Jenifer Latrice in January of 2021.

The trailer conveys the story of a black female protagonist who writes affirmations on post-it notes for encouragement and getting through difficulties in life.

Client provided the book's cover and a brief of the story and requested the chorus of "Rise Up" by Andra Day be used. I first mixed a one-minute background music using an instumental and added vocals from an acapella version of the song, both linked below. Scriptwriting, storyboard and selection of background footage was sent to the client for approval and once all was finalized I put together everything along with the sound design and titles. The video took around 14 days to complete.

All footage and motion graphics used in the book trailer are royalty free and sourced legally from a premium stock library subscription. The background music was mixed using "Andra Ray - Rise Up's instrumental by Piano Karaoke Channel
