When You Are Choosing A Person Build Together. Even if the Future Is Rocky. I remember when we had the baby we were struggling financially and we found jobs on Craigslist and worked together to make money. Cataleya was not even three months, strapped to my chest and I would help work as I could or just keep him company. Marriage is not about times being great all the time. It's about doing what you can to make it work and not giving up even on the hardest moments.

I lost a lot of women over the years. My mother went missing when I was younger, lost my maternal grandmother who raised me and my paternal Granny. The matriarchs in my life are gone. But what God has told me recently is that a new matriarch has risen. I was called at a time such as this.

I take pride in honoring my home and my beloved partner while raising a baby. I have never found much joy in a role. For those of you who are wondering if you should have a kid despite a world of immense difficulty. Please don't let fear stop you. There is no love like the love of your own child!

God has granted us amazing miracles of provision and yes there are still things we need to work on but everything from the crib to the formula has been provided. I used to look down on stay at home moms but now I see no greater honor. I don't even miss my job because being a mom is a job of great reward and it's hard work. I am raising a part of the next generation that will change the world.

And I love my daughter so much. The joy I feel when she wakes up and just wants to see my face and be held for absolutely no cost. Is priceless.

*I don't show my baby's face because I have my own feelings about babies being posted without their consent. Especially given what I have seen as a social worker even with people that were close to me. I respect others but this is what I will do until she is older. ❤️

My bestie took this pic and I thought hmm what a stunning picture among the flowers at a fall fest. These Fall pop ups really know how to decorate!

Today I am 24 weeks and three days growing a beautiful healthy baby. All tests look great!
Women are so amazing and I am in awe of what we can do and the strength of our bodies!
We are sooo excited and I am thankful for this little life kicking in me. My little Chicago Afro- Latina Turkish Baby!

I feel blessed I have had no morning sickness, no food aversions, or any of the things people say you might experience while pregnant. Some thought it was a boy because of this but she's a girl. And I knew it. Symptoms mean nothing haha. Pregnancy has been a breeze I literally love being pregnant. She is my little rainbow baby. PCOS girl with cysts all over my ovaries at 14 years old being told it would be hard to get pregnant. Well affirm what you desire and circumstances can change for the better.

I have an announcement to make.
I am an ambassador for Clitorosity!

After losing my job 6 weeks ago I had time to really focus on being intentional about what I wanted to do with my life. Not what I was conditioned to enjoy but my true passions. When was the last time you were intentional about creating the life you desire? We have this life so why not create one that you enjoy living.

What could I talk about all day? What do people always want to share with me? How have I helped others? What do I want to focus on for my business SacredSassyFreedom?

MY answer included: S*x, Intimacy, Self Care, Relationships, and the depths of Spirituality..

So when I found the company Clitorosity at the Wicker Park Fest a few weeks ago, it was love at first sight. I went up to the Booth after seeing a glorious picture of the c**t and thought those are my people. I immediately hit it off with the founder and others around the booth.

Side note: When you are intentional about your desires the universe help you to get what you want. Doors open and divine blessings come from unexpected places. Clitorosity is a personal example for me. So put out there what you want without shame and attract your community!

Clitorosity is right in line with my values and the conversations I care about.
I am proud to do more events with them and help create safe spaces to talk about s*x.
