The Indiana State Police will be rolling out new looks very soon for their vehicles. They're moving away from the white vehicles, Word has it they are going back to the 60s blue. You will soon be seeing these on every highway in Indiana. Let's just say they look really good and New blue ISP Durango awaiting decals.

WILMINGTON, Calif. (KABC) -- Over two dozen workers were able to safely escape following a tunnel collapse in the Wilmington area of Los Angeles Wednesday night.

The incident was reported around 8 p.m. in the 1700 block of N. Figueroa Street and involved at least 31 industrial tunnel workers, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

More than 100 LAFD personnel, including Urban Search and Rescue teams and Mayor Karen Bass, responded to the scene. The workers were able to emerge from the collapsed tunnel on their own, according to fire officials.

It was a huge LAFD response because it had the potential of being a major multi-day tunnel rescue incident.

AIR7 footage showed workers being brought out of the tunnel in a cage hoisted up by a crane.

LAFD said that trapped workers were able to scramble over a 12-15-foot tall pile of loose soil to meet several coworkers on the other side of the collapse and be shuttled, several at a time, by a tunnel vehicle to the tunnel's entry.

No injuries were reported. However, 27 of the workers were medically evaluated by LAFD paramedics at the scene.

The collapse of the 18-foot diameter tunnel, being constructed for municipal wastewater management by L.A. County Sanitation, occurred at an underground horizontal excavation site about five to six miles south of the sole entry to the tunnel, according to LAFD.

A near-tragic event on Highway 99 near North Avenue.
�A 22-year-old DUI driver veered off the freeway and slammed into the back of a parked CHP motorcycle and tow truck. Thankfully, the officer who was off the bike investigating a prior crash, and other innocent bystanders were not hit.
The driver was arrested for DUI.

Officers face many dangers every day while working to keep the public safe, we don’t need anyone adding to those dangers by driving drunk or high.

👉🏼If you witness someone preparing to drive after consuming alcohol or drugs, step in and say something to stop them.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the firefighters, law enforcement officers, and the families of first responders in Northern Idaho (Coeur d'Alene area) following reports of multiple first responders down from gunshot wounds. Early reports are that a fire was intentionally set to lure first responders into an ambush.

UPDATE: Two firefighters are reported dead. Shots are still being fired. There are currently no reports of law enforcement officers injured. However, the spokesperson acknowledged that there could be other casualties that they are unable to get to in the mountainous area.

CHP Air Operations - Apple Valley Air Unit helicopter H-82 responded to the call of a motorcycle collision with injuries near Barstow, CA. The multi-agency response for the two victims required a momentary closure of the freeway transition road. The victims were treated on scene for major injuries and transported to a local trauma center. Units from the Barstow CHP Area Office will be handling the investigation.

STRUCTURE FIRE WITH HAZMAT - rpt @ 2:06AM at the 25700 block of 2nd Street x Highway 74 East in the City of Menifee-City Hall. Crews are on scene of a well-involved tire facility with 1/4 acre of tires. The fire has spread to one single-story residence adjacent to the facility. Additional Engines have been requested; Additional resources are on scene to include Environmental Health, SoCalGas and Southern California Edison (SCE) for powerlines down in the area. American Red Cross Southern California Region has been requested to assist with displacements. No injuries reported.

A major development in the shooting death investigation of Officer Krystal Rivera.

CPD now confirms that Officer Rivera's partner unintentionally shot & killed her.

She was shot 1 time in the back. CPD was the only one who fired their gun.

COPA is continuing to investigate as more details are expected to be released soon as well as body camera footages.

Please continue to keep the family and Chicago Police Department lifted up in prayers 🙏🏾
