Career in Music
Fahmid composed his first song “Shesh barer moto” in 2013, which has almost 60k views in YouTube. Later in 2015, he worked with Nafeez Iqbal to release two singles “Aamar Prithibi” & “Tumi Eshona” in a mixed album released by Fahim Music & ME Label. He’s been staying in the US from 2016 for academic purposes. After long five years, he produced his new single “Shesh Dekha”, which has been penned & composed by himself. The music was done by Sajid Sarker. The music video of his new song is set to be released on the eve of Valentine’s Day 2020, from Laser Vision Limited, Bangladesh, a leading record label in Bangladesh music industry.
Fahmid is currently enrolled in PhD program at LCTR (Lehman Center for Transportation Research) at Florida International University, USA. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the Transportation Industry.He graduated with a BSc degree in civil engineering, from IUT-OIC,one of the top engineering schools in Bangladesh. Right after graduation, he started working for renowned consultancy firm Snowy Mountain Engineering Corporation (SMEC Pvt Ltd), as a business development engineer, to assist in the ex*****on of large scale transportation infrastructure projects across Asia, Africa and Australia regions. He also served as an engineering coordinator in Sticting Bangladesh Accord Foundation. Later in 2016, he joined University of Idaho, USA, as a Research Assistant and earned his MSc degree, with a concentration in transportation engineering in 2018. Currently, he is working in Lehman Center for Transportation Research at Florida International University, USA towards his PhD.
