So grateful to Allah Almighty that He not only kept us safe during the current torrential rains, but also enabled us to help the victims in the flood-hit areas.
People in my neighborhood have been participating in the drive by donating, collecting, packing & delivering the emergency stuff to the affected areas. The best part is to see children as young as 6 years, involved in such volunteer work.

Those who are into gardening, would agree that this is the best time of the year for new plantation, repotting, pruning & fertilization. Plants are just so happy that whatever you do with them, you're sure to get the desired results!

آ پ سب گروپ اراکین کو رمضان مبارک ہو۔
چند دن ہوئے، کتابوں کی دکان پر اسلامی تاریخی ناول دیکھے تو سوچا کہ کیوں نہ ایک ناول لے ہی لیا جائے۔چنانچہ، حضرت خالد بن ولید رضی اللہ عنہ کی زندگی اور جنگی کارناموں پر مبنی یہ ناول خرید لیا۔
پہلا، دوسرا، تیسرا، غرض یکے بعد دیگرے صفحات پڑھتی گئی اور تاریخ اسلام کے اس عظیم فاتح کے کارناموں پر عش عش کرتی گئ۔ حضرت خالد بن ولید نے اس وقت کی نا قابل شکست غیر مسلم سلطنتوں، روم اور ایران کو اسلامی ریاست کا حصہ بنانے میں کلیدی کردار ادا کیا۔
سب سے دلچسپ بات تو یہ ہے کہ اس ناول میں جا بجا تاریخی حوالے دیے گئے ہیں، اس کے باوجود زبان عام فہم اور انداز بیاں ایسا خوبصورت ہے کہ تمام مناظر قاری کے سامنے گویا ایک فلم کی طرح چلنے لگتے ہیں۔
