📖 Your Word Wednesday
Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation;
on thee do I wait all the day.
— Psalm 25:4–5
Oh, how sweet it is to trust in Jesus!
The psalmist here placed his faith and trust in the Lord. He knew that the only way to truly prosper and be successful was to put his trust in Jesus — the God of his salvation.
He said, “Lead me, Lord, and teach me Thy ways.”
It’s only after we put our trust in the Lord that He can begin to teach us His ways. A lost person can’t begin to understand the things of God until they first understand salvation.
Let me ask you — are you trusting Jesus today?
Do you put your full confidence in Him?
Is He teaching you how to live a life worthy of the cross?
Are you listening when He speaks?
The Bible says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)
How often do you read your Bible?
How often do you pray and talk with God?
The more time you spend with Him, the more He’ll show you His ways — and the sweeter your walk with Him will be.
✝️ Don’t just say you trust Jesus — show it by walking with Him daily. Open His Word, listen for His voice, and if you’ve never trusted Him as your Savior, today’s the day to come to the cross and make that right.
The invitation still stands.
